or just the gendarme on Allo Allo (sorry if you're too young to know what I'm on about)
I swear I've seen It aint half hot mum, Porridge, Allo Allo and Dad's army growing up, yet I can't recall a single episode or line from any of them

Always good to see the support our young players get from our fan base. Can only imagine how well Amass and Wheatley will be received if they end up making their debuts.
I doubt Hojlund is reading this thread, but you're welcome to show your support for him here

He has moments where he comes alive and then moments where he hides in the box surrounded by players. I think he wants to pretend like he's no threat before surprising defenders with a run at near posts, but he's getting the balance of that wrong.

In the first 10 minutes he made two great runs that were ignored by Wan Bissaka and would have had him through on goal if they'd been spotted. I think as the game wears on he gives up trying as he knows none of our players ever pass to him. Every single one of them is more concerned with getting their own shots away than playing our actual striker in.

Good half. Could have been ahead with a bit more luck. Onana with the good ol' De Gea classic. I wish Hojlund would do something one of these days.

Bring on Amad and Amrabat in second half, please.

Great half. Silly from Onana but we look like a football team and could get a few goals if people learn to place their shots.
That’s what I was thinking. Absolutely bossing the game , some better finishing and this game would be over.
1-1 at HT at home to the team who have like 15 points in April is being sincerely labelled as “great” and people agreeing?

    For. feck. Sake

The lack of service excuse doesn't cut it. He's just a poor forward. That's what everyone would be saying if a rival had signed him (see the Nunez thread)
They are day and night. Nunez has poor finishing but he has top movement in penalty box. He is always on the ball.

We should be winning comfortably. I'm actually happy with the performance for once. Their goal just came from a ridiculous Onana mistake. Completely against run of play. Garnacho's been involved in everything but still needs to work on his finishing. That being said, Foderingham's made some really excellent saves. Dalot helping us with possession on the left side but we do miss his delivery from the right. Granted this is Sheff Utd, but this is definitely a step in the right direction

I want to believe that, but I have major doubts. We have multiple areas in the team that need fixing. We're not spending a large amount of money on another starting #9.
We're going to have big problems scoring goals again if we don't. Tries hard but he's not got the quality.

Its the weakest team in the league, they're trash, and we' re at home, relax with the excitement
Sorry forgot this was the match day thread.

    ETH out!
    Hojlund trash!
    Amad on!
Where are you? I can’t hear you!? Let’s be having you!

We have dominated the first helf and would be a few up if not for poor finishing, nice to see we have limited Sheff Utd to only 3 shots tomorrow.

No doubt they'll be entire segments on TalkSport and Sky Sports News dedicated expressing outrage at the freekick being given that led to our equalizer and examining it from every possible angle.

Man this shit is pathetic. Are you his bloody mom? He's been playing like Bambi on ice all season in the PL except those couple of games where he stumbled to a couple of goals.

Some of you have a mentality that's well suited to Forest Green but certainly not United

I think it shows the difference in having a player the style of Eriksen in midfield, we just need to find someone younger and of a similar skill set to partner Mainoo and I think we'd be on to something.

Wow criticising my grammar now? Absolutely pathetic. And no your not just balancing out anything, you just have a weird love for ETH and can't stand when anyone says anything bad about him or the team.

Yes there are extreme views the other way too from certain posters, no doubt, but you jump on ANY post that says anything bad about the team or manager even when it's absolutely deserved. That's cultish behaviour, and reminds me of Amadeus and his mad cap posts about Poch.
Not any grammar, I am just triggered how internet in general constantly mixes "Your/you're", it is not that hard to get it right, and I will always point that shit out.

And no, I have no love for ETH, I want him replaced, and I wish him all the best after. I don't think he is "trash" like many extremist like to, I think he is a good coach, just not the one who can handle this level.
I am just going after extreme posts about him and any of our players, I am tired of that clown fiesta and I will keep moaning about it. So no, I am in no ETH cult like you so want to believe I am, I am just in "anti-clown" cult. Criticism is fine, clown fiesta will be pointed out.

The first half was okay, mistakes aside. We were always going to dominate possession and shots against this Sheff UTD team, they’re happy for us to have the ball. We need to be more incisive, and up the tempo at times.

The lack of service excuse doesn't cut it. He's just a poor forward. That's what everyone would be saying if a rival had signed him (see the Nunez thread)
my guess is kane and halaand would struggle if no one passed to them

Last time I checked, and please correct me if I’m wrong here, there’s another half to come?

They are day and night. Nunez has poor finishing but he has top movement in penalty box. He is always on the ball.
That's my point. People on here are happy to call Nunez shit because he plays for Liverpool, yet we're told Hojlund is a great prospect and we shouldn't criticise him? That's just sheep like tribalism. Hojlund is way worse than Nunez

    Fan mentality  cringe.

Whatever floats your boat mate. As long as you are not one of the match going fans or those people who hurl abuse at players on their socials.

the ball never comes - poor guy has to guess were the likes of rashford is going to boot it
You had two same crosses in few minutes. Maguire attacked the ball, Hojlund waited for the ball (and defender cleared it).

Man this shit is pathetic. Are you his bloody mom? He's been like Baby on ice all season in the PL except those couple of games where he stumbled to couple of goals.

    What's pathetic is that post

This was my prediction after liverpool game..
We will win /tie everygame but somehow end up winning against Arsenal and Fa cup final

Considering we're playing Real Madrid, we've done alright to go in at 1-1

I think it shows the difference in having a player the style of Eriksen in midfield, we just need to find someone younger and of a similar skill set to partner Mainoo and I think we'd be on to something.

It is also striking how much more controlled Casemiro's passing has been in these 2 games at CB, instead of humping everything over the top he is playing a tidier game.

Mainoo wouldn't have the passing range of Eriksen in deep midfield yet, that will be something he will need to develop.
