Michael Oliver. He said part of the reason he did nothing about the challenge on VVD was because none of the players reacted.Where has this myth come from that players and managers complaining about decisions changes anything?
I feel like slow motion takes the impact out of it and people think players are barely getting touched. That’s my theory anyway, thanks for coming to my red talk. Not enough contact for VAR though. Christ.
I’d rather us go with Mata in a game like this. At least you’re not on edge waiting for a donkey touch or miscontrol. We lose the ball so easily against teams like this.We need to seriously look at whether it’s wise to start Rashford and Martial against the low block. They offer nothing in terms of running in behind, holding the ball up, predatory instincts in the box, sharp movement or aerial threat.
so obvious that you have to think it was in the pre-match team talkLiterally shoves him away from the ball.
why the fek does Ole still pick him? It’s performances like this from Martial that I ain’t fussed one bit if we move him on.
Far too inconsistent.
Literally, pretty freaking blatant.so obvious that you have to think it was in the pre-match team talk
Telles is a huge downgrade. Shaw should come in at the restart. Tuanzebe is just not good enough and is on a yellow and looks like a red card walking. He shouldn't come out either. On with Lindelöf. If Martial carries on with the way he's doing on with Cavani on 60min. It's in Ole's hands to make those necessary changes and then we'll win the game.
Still unsure how it’s not a foul on De Gea, not even looking at the ball, two hands on him.
Ridiculous, bring Cavani on for Greenwood.
Not that hardGreenwood has been the best forward on the pitch.
how the feck does he get a job? jokeNothing new.
Pointless asking him his opinion when you already know what it is.
been saying for ages that there is nothing wrong with VAR - just the dolts using it
The ref is making different calls for the two teams that have led to one team being allowed a goal and one team being denied one for very similar incidents, within twenty minutes of each other. How you don't see that being the major influence on the current scoreline in a game where both teams have been largely shit is beyond me. You're having a go at a poster for suggesting that the referee has been impartial and impacted the result because we aren't playing well as a team. As if that's in any way relevant to what he posted. What a stupid analogy.
The fecking ref is not conspiring against us so wind your fecking neck it.
why the fek does Ole still pick him?
That's too pragmatic for a game versus SHU though. There are multiple levels between our team and theirs, we need to see it and it's about forcing the play into their half and moving them around. We don't have to turn into a tiki-taka team but we have to much more competent at retaining the ball in attacking areas and keeping the pressure on.Lose another goal and we are pretty much fecked as we have barely created a chance.
He will give it 15m. I would bet.No changes?
