That was a lovely move, ended with a poor pass from Garnacho and a terrible finish from Hoijund
I'm with you. I'm confused by those green smilies saying it's never a redI must be going mad. Since when is the last man not a red card? There was nobody covering. It’s textbook DOGSO.
Can’t believe anyone thinks that isn’t a red card.
Creating a lot of chances tonight but we can’t finish them off.Lots of positives tonight still very concerning we are incapable of scoring from open play
He's a proven RB that we can probably get decent money for and it seems unlikely he's going to thrive in this system. You wouldn't trust him at RCB (and we have numbers there) and he's not good enough going forward to play as a WB.
Worst case scenario, we sack Amorim at some point and go back to 4 at the back but we still have Mazroaui and maybe a youngster (people seems to like Kamason?) can emerge by then or the right-footed wingback we buy can play there.
But yeah, the manager needs the money, and there are players who will cost half of Dalot's wages and similar transfer fee who will be at least as good as an RWB.
it was very definitely with intent... and he was moving away from the other defender. red, every timeDisagree. I think he was too far from goal, covering player had a chance of making it back and (not that it really matters) there was no intent to foul. Just an awkward clip of the heels
Didn't last season, scored a few peaches with his rightRasmus shoots like a CB
He did find Dorgu just before the last one. Our finishing is shitCan we find one of our players with a cross from the right at least once?
So can’t wait for the summer to address this. A number 10 and number 9 is needed. I like Bruno deeperCreating a lot of chances tonight but we can’t finish them off.
They both ran like tortoisesCas just overtook someone who had a 5 yard headstart![]()
100%. Not fully sold on his technique, but a very shrewd buy. He is tremendous physically.Amorim's 1st signing is a positive.
Dorgu seems to be a talented player, but I wouldn’t say he’s been awesome - if anything, he’s been a bit underwhelming again. That said, considering he’s only 20, new to the league, and still adapting to the team, there are clear signs of why Amorim values him as a left wing-back. He has the energy and physical attributes needed for the role and is always involved in the play, offering an outlet for the team. His decision-making and sharpness on the ball need improvement, but with time and experience, that should come.Dorgu’s awesome
And Antony’s agent had a gall to complain about Amorim’s comment on the fact that La Liga is clearly less physical and this is why he’s doing well there. I think it’s quite evident to everyone. But should passing not be in a players attributes rather than it being coached? Sunday league players can pass a ball man.
Lacking the last, and arguably most important, part of the game. The last pass or shot has been poor by him.Dorgu brilliant tonight.
