Exactly. If the defender does what any sensible defender should do - actually jump and challenge for the ball instead of walking, aimlessly with his head in the sky, then that would not happen.

Doesn't affect the play whatsoever and Lindelof is just making a play at the ball, no intent whatsoever.

Completely the Sociedad defender's fault if anything for being so switched off.
