Playing Bruno three days before Chelsea (a) is nothing short of sentationally idiotic, no matter what he says behind closed doors and how much he wants to play and score. The man is not Ronaldo, nobody is. I was bemused Kane even made the bench yesterday against minnows from Austria, we have already won this game. Resting players has never been more important than during this season, imagine the scenes if Bruno pulled up or got tackled badly in this game. He probably won’t, but that is not the point - the more you play within short intervals, the higher the risk.
