Yep it's one of his best attributes. There are much easier weaknesses to his game that Owen could have a cut off if he knew what he was talking about.

Can't say better than that line-up, really. With Herrera fit I'd've picked him over Rooney but otherwise that looks great. Lots of dynamism in that attacking line-up all of a sudden.

With no-one like Mata or Herrera to link midfield and attack, the pressure will be on Schweinsteiger to play proactively, and on Lingard to do what he does best, which is to enable the link-up play, always be available and moving between the lines. That's his strength, and it'll be important tonight.

Aye, he was caught flat footed, so I doubt it's his fault. DDG would probably have adjusted in time and kept it out with his feet - but DDG is amazing with his feet and he has great reflexes. First one was a blooper from Akinfeev though.

Anyway, on topic, good team. Some good pace in that front line.
