    Fred & McT are actually ok at the minute. The problem is the attack breaks down before it's even started, because there's no movement ahead of them.

    It's literally side to side or backwards in the centre of the pitch because there's no options to pass to. It happens 10+times a half.

    It's hideous how poor we are at moving the ball around.
     
    Chances galore for a change.

    Much better than making hard work of it like against Astana or AZ at least.

    Wonderful football. Forget the quality of the opposition - our movement has been exceptional. We're getting more from our wide players and having actual real life link up play.
     
    That was a much better half of football. We were so fluid in our attack. We can be lethal when given a little bit of space. The finishing from rashford was atrocious mind you.
     
    Dont get to invested in this game guys. They will show their true colors at the weekend as we draw 1-1.
    Ive learnt my lesson and so should you.

    Because they get clogged with "what a shit pass from xxx", "xxx is championship level at best, get out of my club" etc.. Hardly enthralling or engaging posts. Good thing they are closed during games.
     
    Very enjoyable half. Martial brilliant. Mata, Greenwood and Rashford have done well too. Rashford needs to learn to take his chances though.
     
    If only PL teams gave us this much space and time to play our football:drool:

    I was just gonna give Fred his due credit for a good performance so far :angel:
     
    Forget who we are playing for one moment. This performance is brilliant to watch. Enjoyed that first half. You dont mind the odd misplaced pass if we play with that freedom. More of the same even if it means losing matches.
     
    We all know they aren’t playing Premier League quality tonight - doesn’t need to be said every other post.

    Just enjoy a good performance you cretins.

    Ole clearly wants them pushing up but Young was the only player not getting the ball in space for about 20 mins. Not so for AWB. Even Rojo probably had more touches inside their half for that spell.
     
    More good signs. We badly need more signings but the potential is obviously there. We're on the right track.
     
    Same again in the second half. Get that confidence sky high.

    Know that once we win a game against crap opposition the Ole in crown will be full in force, like what they did with Norwich, then blame everyone else for moaning about a single loss or draw while they're doing the opposite with wins.

    Anyway this lot is 4th in their own minnow league 10 points away from the top position.

    This team vs an EPL team would struggle. Once we pass the halfway line, our build-up play if you can even call it that, is still hideous to watch. Zero movement, players standing on the ball, it's just hopeless really.

    Lucky we've found a team clueless enough to let us dominate them. Are they even pro level?

    We could really used that sort of player.. Was hoping Gomes would be that for us but I guess it's too soon yet.
     
    I think Fred was good. Trying to make things happen but obviously most of it is not happening for him yet but it's good to see him try.
    Yes Partizan are very poor too but it's good to see some positive football.
    But I hope we don't get carried away like what happened with the Norwich game. We need to put Brighton to the sword too if there is to be a turn around.
    Rojo was always decent at CB just that sometimes he loses his head. I always liked his no nonsense type of defending.
     
    Getting Martial back has been huge. Himself and Rashford are finally developing a nice understanding. Took a long time for a manager to figure out where and how they should be playing. Fair play to Ole.
