Until the crowd turn on the players at old Trafford the same shite will continue to happen.

Absolutely disgusted with the performance from these players. I cannot blame Amorim at all, we dominated the ball, had it in good spaces. But feck me were the players shit. God awful fecking shit. Brainless, terrible decision making, just low low quality. Half that team needs to be fecked off.

Team is shit. More excuses incoming but fact is we need a culling. Lots of obvious decisions need to be made and take the hit.

Sell everyone besides Onana, De Ligt, Yoro, Martinez (although he really needs to turn it around), Maz, Amad, Hojlund, Mainoo, Garnacho, Ugarte. The rest can go.

He won't and he shouldn't. This is the way to move forward, change the players that don't fit bring new ones that do.

We need to move on from the pragmatic football we've been playing for years to challenge for big titles. This system is it, sacrifice the short and even the medium term for the long one.
I agree. We need players to suit Amorims system and not the other way around. Show the underperforming individuals.

    That's just it.

No matter what, we can engineer the means to defeat.

    Clear mentality issue.
I think part of it goes back to the types of players we’ve brought in. There are a lot of mentally weak players. When faced with adversity too many of them crumble.

Dalot just isn’t a particularly intelligent player, how many chances do we need to see him squander before the manager drops him?!

I think this forum could have picked four people at random and we’d have defended better tonight. An absolute calamity.

Onana… words nearly fail me but he’s had a stinker and then at the end his idiocy has meant we only got to launch one attack when we probably could have had two.

I’m sure there’s a rational reason for the first set of subs being two defenders for two defenders but as I sit here now I’m not aware of it.

At 2-3 down bringing a defender on should be a sackable offence unless they’re injured and I’m pretty sure that wasn’t the case for either never mind both.

Let’s face facts ladies and gentlemen, we’re miles off it.

I'd say it's more accurate to say he's an absolute fecking idiot. Actually the dumbest footballer I have ever watched play

    Excuses in early.

    Not a bad tactic.
These players couldn't make any formation work. It's time for yet another clear out, over the next few years. Thankfully a few are worth while, but until people who care and fight are brought in, not much can change. The culture is bad, Shaw and the Joggers.

We did so well after going a goal down. Got the equaliser and looked in complete control, monopolising the ball for long periods.

How that turned into such a chaotic second half I’ll never know. And worse still, getting it back to 2-3 should have lit the touch paper, yet we somehow let the game fizzle out completely.

In the end the last 15 minutes were so easy for Forest.

That is exceptionally stupid from Onana. And for what? 8 yards maybe?

That was just bizarre. I get that everyone tries it, and 90% of the time they get away with it, but the moment the ref has seen you do it and told you to go back to the proper place it’s absolute madness to try and keep doing it.

Individual errors cost us the game. That being said some really poor performances.

Dalot, his decision making is terrible.

    Martinez, what's happened to him?

All subs, offered nothing. You would think they would come on with a point to prove. I seriously question just how much certain players care about football, it looks like just a way to get a paycheck.

Full faith in Amorin but I'm really struggling with the size of the clear out needed.

Embarrassing - they spent 50% of the match with the centre-backs walking with the ball and then back-passing because there was no pass on.

Nobody is ever going to get a decent side from this pile of dross. We’ve spent millions and look like a pub team only not as good. Doesn’t matter who the manager is, he can’t make a silk purse out of a pig’s ear. Playing like this we could get dragged into a relegation battle if we don’t do some very nifty deals come the New Year.

Onana can stay? He hasn’t impressed me at all since he’s been here.

I mean, what selections should he have done differently? We’ve got a lot of crap players. He’s got to play someone.
Against arsenal we should have used Amad. I want to see more Casemiro. I'm not feeling Dalot as LWB..... Shall I carry on? It's his 3rd game right? So it's absolutely understandable (there's no need to go defence force on me) but personally, I would hope he gets to grips with it sharpish...

Different manager same shit. etH should have to go at the end of the last season.

Mazroui and Ugarte seem good additions. The rest have been suspect. I’ve never been all that impressed with Onana and Zirkzee seems like a complete waste.

Nonsense, the manager and the management should be responsible for that.... We should support the team imo. If the people in charge don't sort it out then get onto them. How does turning on your own players help anything?

Look, you can’t play Amad every game. He’s got to rest sometimes. Casemiro?! Come on man. We get overrun in the middle of the pitch when he starts. He doesn’t have the legs anymore.

The lack of alternatives is a big issue. Really hope we are trying to address this in jan

The last manager did recruit a lot of our shit players

Martinez and Mainoo looked really slow.

WTF would you have Amorim do? He can’t make that relatively easy save for Onana. He can’t properly mark the opposition on corners.

No, I agree with the tactic.

    Tempee expextation.

Like the Labour Party, Amorim cannot control the media narrative no matter what.

Without the Onana howler and Martinez thinking about his xmas shopping we would have deservedly won that game. It was far from perfect but i see clear progress. The match stats back up that we largely out played forest who are a form team, winning at Anfield.
Many fans over react to the negative if we lose. We have a tough run of games so more defeats are expected but hopefully not.
