    feck. That’s quite sad.

    Not really.

I've been able to use the app to buy tickets close to kick-off frequently. The terrible weather will also be a factor.

What's different is ticket updates. They're legion. I'm inundated with messages since about 2022, whereas previously I'd have to personally check. Ineos are more aggressively marketing.

I've noticed all available tickets are £66. That is all tickets. Previously, the prices could go into the thousands for the supreme honour of sitting near the top brass.

    Really weird.

Met office is saying wind speeds averaging about 25mph but possibly peaking at 55mph around 17:00.

Should be fine in terms of it being off as a precaution. Wigan are playing now in gusts of just over 60. Liverpool was forecast to be in the 70s.

Things could still happen. Notts County off today where the wind is similar to Manchester, but that's because it damaged the scoreboard located on the roof. There's access panels flapping about a bit that wind opened up, not even anything major. A sturdier scoreboard and the'yd have been playing.

Loads of matches being played in similar conditions.

Everyone excited to be stood outside in this weather for an hour queuing to get in? If they have the same shambles they've had recently with the stewards it's going to kick off today

Forgive me if my memory is incorrect, but I remember attending a game a few years back sat in the SAF stand near the roof, and it was a VERY windy night. It was only us mugs getting chilled to the bone as wind passes through the top tiers of the stand.

Play was relatively unaffected. The pitch is quite insulated from the weather no?

Surely it must be cancelled? I must admit I hope so - otherwise it'll be the first United PL game I miss since 2019, due to my Mum's 75th Birthday party which starts at the optimally bad time of half an hour before kickoff.

But you will still be able to watch a stream on your phone, even if without sound

Wouldn't mind it being called off we could use a mini break for Amorim to spend some time with the players.

Considering I’m sitting here looking at the stadium, with hundreds of others that have travelled, near and far, I would mind fellah

They have to take in to consideration fans getting to and from the match, that for me would be the only reason to call it off.

The party should have been at OT. :)

A postponement would help the winter fixtures congestion just a bit. On the other hand, a win now would be good given the tough schedule coming up.

Just be thankful we're not playing Everton today. Can you imagine playing against Dyche-ball in this weather. We'd get destroyed with the Brexit Ball.
True. So far not as bad as expected, trains are all running on time (from Warrington), doesn't seem so bad. Though I thought it best to get to Manchester early just incase.

    Hoping for…

    ……………………Onana
    ……..Yoro…….De Ligt…..Martinez
    Amad…Ugarte…Mainoo…Mazraoui
    ………..Garnacho…….Bruno
    …………………..Hojlund

This for me is our first choice 11 currently. Going forwards I’d look to:
    Swap Amad and Garnacho
Rotate Hojlund, Zirkzee and Rashford as the front man with Zirkzee and Rashford slipping in as a 10 against certain teams.

I would put Mount where Bruno is and Bruno where Garnacho is

What's the latest they could call it off? Surely they'd call it off soon if they did.

Me and a friend watched a United match on the phone under the table in HIS wedding. You can still watch it if you want to!

After about 25mins... just clutch your stomach and run to the jacks, that'll do for the first half, then come back for a few mins at half time and then do the same and leg it again for the second half.

Predicted this. Though I have a sneaky feeling Maguire will get a game for De Ligt. Was there any news on if he actually hurt his ankle against Arsenal?
