Horrendously poor spending and squad management. The lack of quality and depth outside the first 11 is shocking.
As for the Antony hate, I understand it.
Attacking wise Antony offers very little for a winger, can't hold the ball up, can't take a player on, can't cross, can't go down the outside. His go too is cut inside and send the ball wide of the far post. He offers work rate, but even his attacking runs off the ball are poor. Pellestri makes the same diagonal run towards the back post and nearly gets in 2 or 3 times more in a few mins than Antony does in 90.Why are people moaning that McTominay isn’t on the bench. He is!
Just saw Shaw and Mount entering the stadium and panicked and awkardly shouted "welcome to Manchester" to Mount.

Its a shame Niakhate isn’t fully fit because McKenna is a mistake waiting to happen.

He was stinking the place out week after week at that stage, lumbering round like aging Neil Ruddock.
I think Antony will come good, but to be honest I just think he'll end to be like most of the utd players, inconsistent. Watch Antony score a goal today and play decent, then poor against Arsenal and then decent three games after and so on. Bringing in Sancho or Pellestri won't change anything consistently I feel, but I do like to see Pellestri get more game time.
It's been like that for Rashford, Martial etc for years. Only hope is Rashford breaks that mould and gives us a 2nd consistent good season (which I've not seen yet so far)
