The lap of honour after full time. Someone bring a bell.

Last home game of the season so whole squad should be present? I'd imagine many of them will be at Old Trafford for last time as United players, could see as many as 10 departures especially if we don't qualify for Europe.

Anyway, hope for a decent result. Even a draw would look good in our current state. We're playing for Chelsea here as well as they're fighting for 6th place finish.

Onana, Wan Bissaka, Kambwala, Evans, Dalot, Amrabat, Mainoo, McTominay, Amad, Garnacho, Hojlund.

I put Amrabat though it'll probably be Casemiro. Think ten Hag will go with McTominay. Between Antony and Amad for RW.

I remember seeing us lose 3-1 to Chelsea in the last home game of the season in about 2003 or 2004, and 80% of the crowd had gone when they gave their lap of honour, it was cringe.

Couldn't have been 2003 - we won the league that year!

I think I remember which game you're referring to. We took the lead and people thought Chelsea were in holiday mode as they were already champions, only for them to turn it around and win comfortably.

Hah, good point. I looked it up, 2005.

I’ve decided I don’t care if we win, lose or draw tonight - but for god sake entertain me! Let’s put on a show for the last match of the season at OT. Go out in style, go down fighting. Play like you give a rats ass.

A lot of people leave the ground, so they don't get caught up in queues.
The case this season is that we have been consistently dreadful. We've broken negative records and are currently displaying relegation form.

A lot fewer people leave when we win the game thats for sure.

Just shore up the MF please Erik. Stick mainoo with amrabat. Someone needs to stop opposition teams strolling up to our 18yard box

If only we could fast forward to the cup final , these final few league games are meaningless.

Maybe that will light a fire under the arses of our adults.
I can’t believe our academy is still doing so well with how shit we’ve been for a decade. You worry just how much longer we’re gonna have lads like this coming through when they see the likes of what awaits them in the first team.
I can honestly see Garnacho and Mainoo being the last ones who come through before kids start going to other PL teams over us

Will probably be a horrible result. Do I care? No. This lot have ground down my soul and hope this year.

    Im tired of this.

    United 1-3 Newcastle

Did anyone see the players arrive. United Twitter had a video of nine of them, including Martinez and Amad. No Bruno or Rashford on there.

Yup. I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the case.

People are saying they don't care but I'm actually looking forward to seeing what we're like tonight, especially if we go with a similar team/set up.

Despite what people say, I think we were decent against Arsenal. Based on this seasons standards anyway. I think we were good off the ball and got into good areas. Unfortunately, we were wasteful in the final third, but what I saw was promising.

I hope to see the same team again, maybe with the addition of Bruno or Mount for McTominay.

Need to think about the FA Cup final, however little chance we might have.

Mainoo and Garnacho have been overplayed, they need a rest, would not be against holding them out of the last league games, and I would be very dubious about any attempt to rush Lisandro back.
