    De Gea
    Wan Bissaka
    Varane
    Maguire
    Shaw
    Matic
    VDB
    Bruno
    Pogba
    Greenwood
    Cavani

Ronaldo second half brace and a 4-0 win.

In an ideal world I would rotate the squad by playing in majority the ones that stayed longer in training and keep fresh legs for Bern in CL.

But it would be to ideal to play AWB, Dalot,, Matic,Mc Tominay (if fit), Van de Beek, Sancho (who came back early), Greenwood and Cavani. I mean the defense will struggle for sure.

    My ideal team

    --------------------------------------De Gea----------------------------------------
    Wan Bissaka---------Maguire------Lindelof-------------------Dalot
    ----------------------------Mc Tominay----------Matic-----------------------
    Greenwood-----------------Van De Beek-------------------------Sancho
    -------------------------------------Cavani--------------------------------------------

    Then introduce :

    Bruno
    Pogba
    Ronaldo

    Brucey will cry

I don't think it makes sense to have Cavani, CR7 and Greenwood in the starting line up. That's too little creativity. So I'd go

    DDG

    AWB
    Varane
    Maguire
    Shaw

    Matic
    VDB

    Greenwood
    Bruno
    Pogba

    Cavani

At Old Trafford for this one for the first time in 2 years. Absolutely buzzing. Really hoping to see Ronaldo start but knowing Ole and his love of trolling us he will probably be in the bench. I think he will go for something like:

    DDG

    AWB
    Varane
    Maguire
    Shaw

    McTominay
    Pogba

    Sancho
    Bruno
    Martial

    Greenwood

The only reason to have Ronaldo on the bench would be to bring him on for the crowd effect. I see no footballing reason otherwise.

Ronny starts. Dont worry about that. He won't to have to wait till there's half an hour left before he makes his debut

Less than 24 hours now:drool: I dont think I’ve been this excited for a game in recent memory.

A few days ago i had a dream that we won this game 9-0, with Ronaldo scoring 6 goals.
Just leaving this here incase the very slim chance it actually happens.

Ronaldo will start, he played full game against Ireland without any issue

    He is ready to go

Newcastle will kick the living shit out of Ronnie and most likely be double marked. Great opportunity for Greenwood to bang one or two, also we should exploit Cavani's classic striker's ability while his legs not gone completely.

Also, I'm not sure I share the idea that Ronaldo has to start and that he's here to start every minute of every game.
To apply a “one size fits all” rotation policy to Ronaldo is nonsense. If he wants to start every game, he does, period - he is one of the GOATs, not just a regular top class footballer.

Very interesting, anyone know how many we normally have in a squad?

    That's 21, so the matchday 18 and 3 spares.

Surely no chance Ronaldo doesn't start with Cavani not in the squad?!

There are 9 players on the bench these days. Grant will miss out.

Pogba being a bad influence on these youngsters

Even better, as full squad plus a 3rd choice keeper means Cavani isn't just hanging about not having joined up yet, which can sometimes be the risk.

Just remembered that we also have Jadon Sancho making his full home debut tomorrow. Good times!

    Cavani not with the squad?

Haven't seen him in training this week either
No different to last season. He’s a part-time player nowadays. He’ll play meaningful minutes once every three or four games and no more.

Not sure how people worked themselves into believing that Cavani was somehow fit and ready to go for United, but Ronaldo wasn’t.

He'll be massively thanking Ronaldo for taking all the pressure off him!
Yeah, hasn’t looked as relaxed and confident for England and United so far, as he did for Dortmund. Just get him out there with Ronaldo and Greenwood tomorrow.

Ronaldo is definitely starting if Cavani isn't in the squad.

    Can't wait. Absolutely buzzing.

ronaldo up top to start with pogba left, bruno central, greenwood right. Who cares about the rest that should be easy enough. Sancho to come on at some point to keep it fresh up top. Doubt we see that though but who knows. With it being newcastle matic pogba base and throw sancho in could work as well.

He was training normally last Monday, pretty sure he picked up a knock or something.

Fubo.tv. Is it not available in the UK?
Every time I try to log in it fails, so I don't think so. Says something about being available in the EU, so looks like Brexit fecked us again.
