Started poorly but it’s hard to complain at half time when all of your front three have scored.
I’d take Scott off at half time, purely because Friend will be dying to send him off.

Very mixed first half from us. Defensively we were very poor and left ourselves very exposed on a number of occasions. Yet going forward the movement has been better, with some decent link up play between the front players, and Shaw and AWB being threats as well.

Newcastle seemed to have crumbled in the last 15min and gifted us chances which we punished them. I'm sure they will regroup for the second half, but if we fix the defensive weaknesses and keep the pressure up we should hopefully be able to get a goal or two more on the counter.

Decent half in the end but I seriously don't know why it always seems to take us going a goal down to wake the feck up and do anything. At least this time the goal came in the 17th minute and not the 70th.

Some "fans" have no patience. Youngster starts his first season at top level, provides world class defensively, needs some work attacking-wise, and some of our fans immediately declare that he can never develop his attacking play. Makes you wonder if they just love being dramatic and negative.

I'm a bit worried with McTominay and Pereira on yellows at least one of them needs to be taken off for Pogba at half time.

It's amazing how much a goal changes this Utd team. They can go from not being able to pass a zebra crossing to slick football. Even Wan Bissaka putting in great crosses. Every player is a confidence player, every team is a confidence team but it's incredible how little this squad is able to sustain belief from moment to moment.

Somewhat lucky, GK error, defensive error + deflection, ref should have given a free kick in the build up for the 3rd all after us looking awful at the start especially defensively

Still I'll take the luck it's not like we've had a lot of it this season

I know we can’t be at our best all the time but my frustration is the disparity between performances.

The Watford game and that first 20 minutes for absolutely dire. Poor passing, defensive shape all over the place then all of a sudden we have one two dummies, Maguire winning headers in Newcastle’s half, AWB crossing the ball.

I just don’t get it.

I didn’t think so, I thought we were just as bad after the equaliser but Greenwood’s goal sprung us into life. We started pushing forward off the ball more then and forced the issue. We were so passive before that, waiting for Newcastle to hand us the ball. It is worrying I agree. We got lucky with the first two goals, if we rely on luck like that we’ll get nowhere in future games.

Good to see the fight back, and our front 3 always gives us hope. But our defence which we are supposed to have fixed is causing us issues. Victor Lindelof leaves me scratching my head each game. Always gets bullied somehow by the centre forward. Doesn't help us to be on the front foot with a leaky defence - Shaw has been patchy and Maguire can do better too (on both ends of the pitch). Our midfield is solid and hardworking, but in need of Pogba to have any semblance of a top 4 creative midfield
