This is basically last season's midfield with Pereira playing Herrera's role and Lingard taking the Mata spot. There's going to be plenty of chances for Wilson so hope he takes it. I'm very high on him.

Aitor Karanka is a proper manager and his teams play good football, a Mourinho disciple of sorts, but not a cnut though..hopefully they show that in their next game after this one..

hope everybody gets to the ground , traffic round OT was/is a nightmare, I would in Trafford Park and a 15 mn trip home took me nearly an hour.

Lingard and Pereira have done reasonably well against tough opposition when they have played. Its time we tried playing them together against weaker opposition. Also good to see Wilson get some minutes.

I like the selection, Louis van Gaal's system looks more attractive with high energy players, the four of Lingard, Wilson, Depay and Periera will hopefully show this, Carrick's experience and Fellaini's physicality and aggression should add balance and the defence is solid.
