I thought he would go strong, well as strong as it is on paper, Sancho for me needs a big game, and Rashford has looked more like himself. Nice 11.

I was expecting AWB to get a run out. Looks like Ralf really doesn't fancy him. Happy to see Pogba back. I'm glad we went with a strong team. I guess this is a good game to see if this midfield will work. Pogba and Bruno have to help defend.

This is the line up i always wanted (just de gea in goal instead of dean - but it makes sense for a cup game).

bruno and pogba in a 433 with pogba on the left of the 3 man midfield - hope so.

Dean Henderson, Tom Heaton, Lee Grant, Diogo Dalot, Luke Shaw, Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Phil Jones, Raphael Varane, Nemanja Matic, Scott McTominay, Bruno Fernandes, Fred, Paul Pogba, Juan Mata, Hannibal Mejbri, Jadon Sancho, Anthony Elanga, Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcus Rashford.

No De Gea means he wasn't going to play, Ronaldo in squad means he's sure to start.

Elanga I can see why but with the Greenwood situation priority is on trying to get Rashford and Sancho to gel together and this is a good game for them to show what they can do.

With AWB I learned my lesson from putting him in my team a few weeks ago but Dalot still started. Doubt AWB will play much for the rest of the season.

Not me, been out all day and knew no news or leaks. I think I got 10/11, I didn’t think Pogba would start.

Time for Sancho to shine and Pogba to give us a game where he looks like a $100mil player. We certainly have the squad for a cup run with Pogba back. Would be interesting to see if he can actually cover the ground that Bruno/Fred does and put in the defensive effort. Although I could see him being the one to receive the ball from the defense in the midfield while on offense, with Mctominay helping defensively.

I'm very surprised that AWB isn't playing this one. He seems to have been overtaken by Dalot in the pecking order, but an FA Cup match against a Championship team is the obvious one to play the players who are just below the starting 11.

Yeah that was my reasoning for picking AWB. And would expect Dalot to return for the league game next week

But I get it too. Dalot needs as many games as possible if he is to be our first choice for rest of season

For rest of season think only players missing are Cavani, Baily, Lindelof from senior squad. Not sure what's going to happen with Lingard.

Looks like Ragnick is another that hasn't learnt that Pogba can't okay behind Bruno. He'll get away with it against Boro but it'll be an expensive lesson for him to learn, took Mou and Ole ages to stop playing him deep.
