This isn't even about Ole. Look at that eleven. You will notice that almost none of them achieved anything prior to and during the course of their stint at utd. Pogba Matic Wan Bissaka and McGuire earned their places prior to coming here ( Matic is only poor now because of his age). Rashford has earned his spot here, moreso this season than ever. De Gea was a top keeper at Atletico and is one of the best keepers in the world. Outside of that, the other players were signed as either obscurities, were bought on the basis of potential, or are homegrown. These are players who have never proven themselves outside of united, even at midtable or lower end of the table standards. We just always assumed that they were better than other players on the basis that they play for utd.

That is 6 players out of our entire squad, and three of those players were too injured to play this game. Yet somehow year in year out, these players manage to stay within the club, play far more games than their performances deserve, on fatter contracts than some of the best players in the league. This has to be sorted before any real changes can be seen consistently.

To be honest, scoring a consolation or even putting in a better second half display will prolong the inevitable. We can't keep a clueless manager in the job when he persists with terrible lineups and poor tactics.

There was also the Moyes out banner and plane flying over. I think the fans accept a lot from players when they work hard and look like they care. Players have it pretty easy. Even Arsenal fans are less accepting since they actually got in a 'fight' with Xhaka.
