He is a 45-50m player. Liverpool paid 40m for Gakpo. Nunez had PL experience. Jackson was ca 35m.

I agree that the main issues are that he is expected to lead the line and he is starved off service. No RW, poor fullbacks and Rashford out of form.

He played well today. I'm not going to say he didn't. But one swallow does not make a summer. I will still argue the fact the money could've been better spent elsewhere, irrespective of a decent 50 minutes. You're reaching extremely deep to try to justify his purchase.

Rashford is inconsistent, I agree. However, Antony could have another 10 seasons at United and I'd bet my bottom dollar that he'd never replicate the season Rashford had last season.

He's just not good enough, and the reason ten Hag plays him is because 1) he spent so much money on him 2) our other options aren't that great neither.
