Our whole operation was based on having a goal to work hard to defend.
It's because he's being asked to do everything himself in midfield, against a Liverpool side that play at high intensity. We need another player, possibly 2 with similar attributes to him in midfield. Instead, it's McTominay, Bruno, and now Eriksen. We still haven't got a functional midfield. Mainoo is the midfield.We’re not winning this.
There's a reason that even when we are playing "well" (like the first 30 minutes of today), it falls off so drastically.
