2 man midfield
Last Man Standing finalist 2021/22
Yeah same, never got the hate for LinekerI probably shouldn't, but I do enjoy the trio of Lineker, Shearer and Wright.

Cosiest man on the planetIan Wright is a set of headphones away from looking like Ty from AFTV.

I think the big anti Beek club are just fans that laugh at the people that say he is too genius a footballer to be effective with this group of players, like we heard with Kagawa.Nah he’s been good. Not spectacular but amongst our best players after Shaw, Rashy and probably Pogba. VdB played the pass that made the goal, has constantly made runs, could have had a peno and generally been good around the oppo box.
Either you’re unintentionally biased (there is a big anti VdB cult on here) or your standards are just unrealistic.
Fully Agree. But He isn't even a ball winner. He would inflict far more damage by playing in the free roleJust watching the half-time highlights on the BBC and it's remarkable how often our counter attacks start with Pogba winning the ball. He has been brilliant.
Completely agree, that ball to shaw was great.Same here, beautiful 1 touch football. We just need to learn to use him more, all our forwards want to just go on mazy dribbles instead of bouncing it off him.
When shaw eventually did it he setup a lovely ball into the box, he’s class.
Disappointed that Ian doesn’t have the scooter with him from the Christmas advertI probably shouldn't, but I do enjoy the trio of Lineker, Shearer and Wright.
I am. He hasn't been bad at all, we've failed to control the game at the time you posted, because certain players were constantly careless in their own third which had feck all to do with the remit of Cavani, VDB and Rashford.Take the poster off your wall and look at it subjectively.
Limited game time but I think he's been FAR more impressive as a #8 than a #10. Every time he's played in the hole he's looked invisible and a passenger. As an 8 he plays like he knows he has to get on the ball more and has no problem doing it.Proper rate VDB, I love how quick everything he does things, problem is you don’t see enough of him.
McT has been ok I think, he’s had a few decent moments to set us off on the break. He’s being overwhelmed in the middle though, not sure him and Pogba compliment each other very well.
Why not? They're all good pundits. Somewhere along the line it became cool to hate on them for no reason.I probably shouldn't, but I do enjoy the trio of Lineker, Shearer and Wright.
I agree for what its worthDonny has had a good half not sure what people are watching, out the team for weeks and weeks and to come back in and control the game?, he has got forward well had a couple of half chances for an assist and had a part in the goal with a good 1st time ball out to wing
Make that twoI hope Ole is pressuring the ref about Thiago and his "tactical fouls". He should have had a yellow by now.
The goal came after our corner and Maguire was a bit late back, which is why Lindelof took his position. They do that quite often.Happy enough with that half. I'd say we were the better team apart from a 5-10 minute period in which they got their goal. Don't like to admit it but a very nice pass and finish for that. Oddly Maguire and Lindelof seemed to be swapped around at that moment and a bit lost.
VdB MotM so far. Pegged on he scores.
ThiagoHard to find a bigger shithouse.
Figured it wasn't that high. No ref is that bad. Next one has to be a yellowIt's actually 2
Shearer isn’t tbh. Ian Wright isn’t great either but he’s funny, and works well with whoever they have on.Why not? They're all good pundits. Somewhere along the line it became cool to hate on them for no reason.
Pogba is sensational on our goal. Wins a ridiculous ball out of no where and goes by 2 players to open up the space
Yeah same, never got the hate for Lineker
Pretty sure Bruno brings more to the team as a coach than Michael Carrick.
What has he done aside from a few flicks?I am. He hasn't been bad at all, we've failed to control the game at the time you posted, because certain players were constantly careless in their own third which had feck all to do with the remit of Cavani, VDB and Rashford.
Clearly the issue with a lack of subjectivity is with you, bizzarly pointing to VDB doing "nothing" when the problem was far from him at the time.
Sorry Michael. How could you possibly know that? Do you have a live feed of what's being said on the pitch? For all you know, Carrick could be the brains behind everything and Fernandes might just be asking Ole if he can go for a few pints after the game.
Complete bollocks.
I think compared to the unmitigated feck-up that is Jermaine Jenas, they could have literally anyone doing the half-time analysis and they'd look good by comparison
