    Mourinho would be proud of this line up.

    Could be 5 at the back, could be a narrow diamond in midfield, who cares. All that matters is we only have 2 players who are attackers.

    Go into it with very low expectations like me and if we somehow end up in a draw it’ll feel like we’ve won.

    I'm hoping for something like this, as 3 at the back is just going to invite too much pressure onto us. Try to release James and Rashford early, and give little space as possible in our half.
     
    To think that we've spent so much money just to line up like this in one of the biggest games. I honestly can't believe it.
     
    Hope it’s not 3 at the back and Axel is instead playing DM. Not sure where the goals are coming from regardless to be honest. Pereira must be the worst first team regular we’ve had, the guy is useless.
     
    3-5-2 should help us today. The 3 central defenders can handle their 3 attackers who love to come central, and AWB and Young can handle their attacking full backs.

    James and Rashford need to run into the spaces that their full backs leave when they attack.
     
    Fred, McT and Perriera in midfield.....with all due respect to them as people, how in the hell has it come to this?

    I am no against switching formations and i think that 352 is good formation but to play it for the first time in biggest game is not good option imo. On the other side, it just can't be worse than that what we were playing last couple of months.

    To be honest the formation is probably better than using the 4-2-3-1 . It’s not helped by our wingbacks being so limited but it packs the central areas of the pitch.

    We don’t have wingers or number 10s anyway so why bother pretending .
