    Look. I understand what you mean. But no Manchester United supporter should ever want the team to get spanked, especially by the pool.

    Because I cannot see how any win could be anything but lucky. With how we have played so far, can you really say otherwise?

    We cannot score goals and are conceding a goal per game on average. This is why. I have seen nothing to suggest otherwise.

    If we, surprisingly, actually played well, it will be an aberration to the norm. It still would not want me to keep Solskjaer.
     
    If Solskjaer hasn't indeed held any tactical sessions to prepare for Liverpool, something should be done about it...

    I agree we have been awful, but hoping for the scousers to spank us is ridiculous. I just dont get it.

    Fair enough, maybe spanked is a bit too much, but I just want a result that guarantees Manutd from separating paths with Solskjaer.

    Manutd are just so painfully bad to watch that it is now a desperate situation. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

    There is no way a United fan would hope for the team to lose against Liverpool in this situation. That will put them 8 points clear at the top.

    What difference does one game make to them? They will still be 5 points clear and challenging for the title. Even if we did win, Liverpool still have the bragging rights.

    The improvement of Manutd is my concern, not some one-off result that has little bearing on our seasons.

    Wanting the team to lose so we can switch managers is certainly a train of thought I can understand but come on lads. This is Liverpool. They must be beaten. Regardless of our situation.
