Liverpool have had their chances, we've been poor other than the two goals, one of which was offside.

Maybe if Brentan stopped with this 'false Sterling' bullshit, they'd have a few goals.

Fellaini has been erratic but decent at regaining possession at times. Wingbacks have been almost faultless.

For me though, Carrick has been the gaffer tape that has held this fragile defence together.

What we need to do is to stop Liverpool getting an early goal, and we can close this game down - perhaps even throw Falcao on.

You know that it was a difficult decision because none of Liverpool's players saw RvP's touch and weren't appealing. I missed it even after 2 replays too.

Not exactly a good performance but Liverpool is even worse and we're winning.

    Was 2nd goal offside?

Falcao and Herrera to come in the 2nd.

And is it just me or Atkinson has gone a bit crazy with the cards?

Lot of our attack have been evolving around Fellaini and Valencia who both have been pretty good I think.

Good play so far, but we really need to create more chances in final third, so far weve been extremely clinical, but we need to give our strikers for chances

Theres alot of focus on ball retention at back, and in midfield, sometimes, need to be a little more adventurous

Neville needs to pipe the feck down. I mean, Carragher doesn't pretend to be anything other than a keen Liverpool fan, he's not desperate to be seen as unbiased, whereas Gaz is doing his best to appease the non-United fans, even if that means blatantly talking rubbish about United.

It's days like where supporting United is at it's most enjoyable. Not just winning, but playing like we give a shit and sticking it to our biggest rivals.

We've come through a bloody miserable year or two to get to this stage, but I for one am loving this.

How the feck are we winning this? We've been hopeless.

PLaying a midfield one any day of the week is daft, playing a midfield one of Maroune Fellaini is unbelievably stupid.

That settles it: The germany broadcast is shite and turned down the mics near the stands again. God damn it.

    Surely not?!

It was pretty fecking loud too. Just after he took a corner or poor free kick I believe. Was while DDG was taking a goal kick and the entire Stretford ending (and maybe more) was belting it. It was amazing.

Then again when he actually slipped then lost the ball haha.

Watching football about 15 years, but still can't figure it out, what is fellaini supposed to do in this team?

And the media starts again saying and shouting the sec goal was offside and how much we are lucky. Feck off Haters.

You can have the best strikers with that midfield you just don't get them into play. Fellaini is so poor, Mata beside the goal invisible and I just prefer Rooney as a striker. We badly need Blind or Carrick in there and Herrera who can add something too

No control of the ball makes it very difficult. We need to control the ball to get it to the forwards but some players have trouble passing it five yards. With the ref intent on booking United players, we need to see a more controlled second half.

Feel for the forwards, just never know when the balls going to be played and when it is, the quality isn't good. We're lucky to be two up. People talking about Wilson need to realize he's not in the game because players are not getting the ball to him. Even RVP has has only a few touches. We need to bring the ball forward better and control it in the final third to create chances. Once again, we've only had 2 maybe 3 shots in 45 minutes of football....

We need to shuffle this around second half, been lucky with the goals. Must get a grip on the possession. I'd take Wilson off for Falcao and Herrera on for Mata with Wazza going into the hole. I'd love to get Fellaini off but we don't have such options obviously.

Happy with the result but we're capable of much more than that, we're creating so little and allowing them to have a go at us, thank god they're terrible but we can't push our luck.

So many yellows is worrying, the ref will compensate for that offside goal by sending someone off at the first possible opportunity, we need to be careful.

disappointed in Wilson to be honest, he really hasn't had much touches of the ball, has got to get in the game more. He is pressing like a bat out of hell, I will give him that.

Don't know what people are moaning about with the ref. All our cards are justified IMO. If we sort put performance out we could dish out a battering here

Both teams have been very poor, just so sloppy in possession, thankfully our quality finishers did their job.

Big worry for the 2nd half is that we are gonna get someone sent off with the way this ref is throwing out cards and 3 of our most hot headed players are on a yellow.

Take off Fellaini. He improved later in the half, but a red for him seems inevitable given his free flowing elbows and Atkinson losing it.

Wilson and RVP getting no service whatsoever.

We can only ride our luck for so long, I strongly suspect Atkinson will give them a pen and/or one of our guys a red.

Ugh, gutted to be 2-0 down. I actually think we have been slightly the better side but the big difference is killer instinct in the final third. United have it and we don't.

I'd like to see Markovic come on assuming he has trimmed his nails. Maybe bring him on around the 60 minute mark for Coutinho or Lallana to see if his pace can make a difference.

I doubt we'll get anything from this point.

We are awful. Fellaini is a remarkably bad footballer. The number of errant passes we have made is shocking. Second goal was offside. First goal was genuine, but Liverpool could easily have scored a few themselves. Relying on DDG yet again. The scoreline flatters us but we look a right disaster of a team.

    Winning despite playing quite averagely.

The fear is someone will get sent off. I'd take Wilson off and bring Herrera on.
Why? Take off the mosst obvious candidate for a red - Fellaini. Liverpool don't have muscle in midfield so Herrera should be fine there.

Karma for the dippers. Atkinson is probably going to try and feck it up for us though. If he fecks us today and we don't win because of that I'm going nuts.

Very weird game. Not played very well and Liverpool have had more than enough chances to score yet we are winning 2-0.

We have been dreadful but we've already won this game! Sterling's pace and movement is causing us big problems but he's not a striker so they are not scoring this game!
