"It's a story of missed chances for Liverpool. Yes they have played well to create those chances, but still in the last 20 minutes of the first half and for spells in this second half, they were very poor defensively. I would not be scared of playing Manchester United either though. They have been poor defensively as well. They are good going forward - I wouldn't say great - but with the players they have they always look like conceding."

Good win in the end. DDG easily the man of the match.
Saying that 3-0 hardly tells the whole story, DDG bailed us out big time. It is worrying how easily we can be got at a lot of the time. If Sterling finished his chances early on it could have been a different story. But 3 points is all that matters and the win continues our good run and will continue to build confidences among the squad.
Yeah the saves are important but you just can't analyse the game like that. Credit where's due. We have a world class goalie yes, but still we need to score to make it a a win and we won it emphatically. Enjoy the win mate!Good win in the end. DDG easily the man of the match.

It did sound rather dismissive, at least in the moment. He didn't say that. Well.. there was more.
He said the positioning was great so he was in perfect position to make those saves. Not too many flying saves that make the "best of" highlight reel.
His a waster. Absolute mug.from bbc:

Best GK in the world.
Rodgers interview ... talking about last year, won the game comfortably..
Was that this year or last year, Brendan?Brentan's first line "We did enough to win the game"
Ah that was confusing, you were replying to a post about the goal and you talked about similar situations.
