    But in all seriousness, if Matip doesn't want to play for Cameroon that's his decision. I'd be utterly pissed off if it were the same with Bailly, I do have sympathy for them.

    I thought he was retired but Cameroon still wants him to play? Not 100% sure though
     
    The national team has the right to call up any player they want even if he said he wouldn't go. So correct decision from Liverpool as Cameroon wanted him in the cup.
     
    Have to hope this is the Klavan that played against City and Everton, not the one who played at Sunderland and Southampton.
     
    Only questionable inclusion is Darmian. Kinda hoped Mata would start but pretty content with that.
     
    Perfect side almost. The one change I would have made is blind for darmian, but Mou prefers darmian for whatever reason

    No chance, we dont have the squad depth of the other top 5 sides, unless our first xi is fully fit and on the field theres generally a massive drop off. Having matip would have given us a semblance of a chance but now we have none.
     
    Would have preferred Blind. Darmian's crossing is annoying.

    He can't until the rules change. National team has priority during the weeks it's either qualifying games or tournaments.

    And even if he don't want to play for his country anymore they can call him up.
