Good opening few minutes (like 8 or so), but then we've sat back after the goal (wasn't much of a penalty either) and haven't been able to keep the ball (Sanchez and Darmian main culprits, but also not great movement off of it).
Looks like last year but Fred looks lively and 2-footed though has dwelt on the ball a couple of times and been dispossed and Darmian hasn't been able to deal with Gray's dribbling at all.
Lindelof has been outmuscled a couple times.
The defensive block has looked organized and we've switched the ball well (in particular Pogba, Mata and Pereira) when in possession but struggled with anything close.
Bailly has cleared things well. Pogba is very good at football. Shaw has started very well.
Leicester's attacking is all through the right. Chilwell and Gray are just faster than Mata and Darmian and it's caused problems consistently. Still have no idea who our RW against a better side will be, maybe Rashford or Lingard for defensive job, but you can see how Perisic (who I didn't want last year) would have helped us again with Mourinho's very passive style.Not great is it?DaveThankfully he wasn't sold to Real.Great stop Dave. Struggled to get hold of the ball for 10 or 15 minutes. It’s the kind of game you’d expect us to dictate. Pogba is everywhere.
