    We still haven't conceded! Unbelievable

That's not how the offisde rule works. Any ball playing body part eg shoulder, head, torso, butt, can be offside. I have not seen the goal but I mean in general the rule is not just about feet.

Ok, but Mata was on side.

Pleased. More nervy than it should have been but a 2-0 win with one disallowed goal and one fluffed penalty is nothing to sniff at.

Jose bang on with the subs. Pleased to be proven wrong.

Could have easily been 4 or 5-0 if not for the 9/10 performance of Schmeichel and the brilliance of Maguire. And if Lukaku had been allowed to retake his pen, but of course there will be no mention of that or the Mata goal which wasn't offside. Instead the focus will be on Fellaini's offside goal.

If anything, I hope this has opened Jose's eyes that we can't rely on Blind and Valencia as our main fullbacks. In a system where we need width we can't be relying on them for our attacks. Aurier and a LB would be perfect in the next few days, but I doubt this.

Was De Gea doing a Pog handshake/dance?

3 wins, 10 goals none conceded couldn't have asked for anymore. We're not going to steam roller everyone but the signs are good that we'll find a way through.

Arguably the best display for me, we were all over them, Pogba was brilliant, Jones was brilliant, Martial played brilliantly and I even thought Lukaku done really well despite the penalty miss, in fact I'm finding it hard to pick holes in any player, you can see the confidence running through the team, long may it continue.

Doubt it personally. Lindelof will get his chance then for sure like he did against Madrid.
I think he won't, Mourinho won't probably risk his first Champions League game here, precisely because of the Real Madrid game. Although it would make sense to have a ball distributing centerback alongside Smalling.

Great win again. Played well overall even if we struggled to break them down at times. Missed a penalty was poor, but we won in the end which is the key thing. Jones and Bailly are awesome at the back. De gea got to show a bit of class as well.

Well that's your opinion I suppose. I don't think Mourinho is a fan of Blind at centre half and felt forced to play him there in the Europa final. I suspect Lindelof has been promised the first Champions League game and you can't judge a player solely on his first "competitive" match against the best side in the world. Either way, Mourinho spend £30m so he will get a shot.

Mildly ironic that the 4-0 winning 'run' ends in the one fixture in which we scored four goals in the PL last season. Still, a good result to take into the international break.

Tough game, we kept pushing even after we missed the pen, thanks God we won now we need another good attacking performance against Stoke and keep the momentum, Jose is such a great manager he got the substitutes right again.

Should have been more comfortable than it was. Great result though.

Just hope for no injuries in the international break (I'm looking at you Phil Jones)

We played some nice football and went close a lot considering they just sat there and played for 0-0. Good win, and no injuries.

Not forced, Jones was available then. Agree to disagree.
