A bit frustrating. Pogba shots were not that good and our crossing is abysmal - bar that Blind cross wasted by Lukaku. But we're dominating and I'm pretty sure we'll manage to score at least one. Bring on the second half

My concern too. The clues are already there, and I just worry that we're going to get more desperate and give Vardy one chance to run one-on-one v Jones. Hopefully we'll get an early goal in the 2nd half.

There is a bit of lack of movement around Lukaku. I think Rashford has been much missed. Sadly Rashford misses more than Martial, but his movement is much better. I think in general Martial has been fairly good today, but he doesn't create anything for his teammates.

Blind is disappointing. We expect nothing from Valencia in terms of quality delivering and Blin has been abysmal. Even his CKs were terrible.

This is going to be the way against smaller teams, they'll sit deep and it'll be up to Pogba and co to break them down. It'll be difficult and early goal is usually the key in opening the game up.

The fact is, we're not playing with any true width at all. Blind and Valencia have no business trying to give width to players like Lukaku, Martial, Pogba, and Mkhitaryan. They deserve to have a world-class FB who is a real attacking threat.

I'm praying that we bring a fullback in because against non-relegation teams that like to pack the box, we're going to struggle.

Valencia just doesn't know how to cross.

He is literally incapable of doing other than lacing it with no craft or culture at all.
The only way for him to be effective in that position is to get it down and run into the box, because when he is in this mindset there's no point in the strikers being in the box, because it won't end up anywhere near them.

He is very good defensively and always matched us the pitch to offer an option on the right. However his predictability and terrible crossing stop him from having any impact on the final 3rd.

I fondly remember the days with G.Neville at RB, who might not have had the athleticism of Valencia, but he could fecking whip a good cross in the box.

If you ignore the 4-5 years of 1,000s of comments about he smashes it into shins, or stops like a statue, and never gets any assists despite his incredible energy...then yes, you're right, it goes completely unnoticed
