he’s been offside 3 times for no reason, he’s taken poor shots when he should have passed, he’s run the ball off the pitch or fallen over multiple times.
I don’t want to drag on the guy too much but it’s clear he’s not united quality, it’s a bit embarrassing watching him out there.
But he doesn't. It's not as if he's knocking in pinpoint crosses, or playing intricate passes, or bringing the ball out of the sky, or leaving his man for dead. He doesn't do any of that. If he could, then we would be seeing some lovely stuff in the build up.

Did you honestly find that first half boring? I think you care about the wrong things. 4-2-3-1 is absolutely the right system to play against Leeds to provide security against their pressing, and in caeed youh haven't noticed, it's worked. Leeds have won the ball high up the pitch several times but haven't been able to press as tger es been another player covering.
Sterling is excellent. Was one of the best young footballers around when he was a teenager. Such an underrated footballer for this comparisons to be made.Joe Cole says Leeds will be backing on the door. Do we agree?
He has everything that can be moulded into a functioning winger for us if he;
a) could at least play simple passes where his team mate can take it in efficiently to play him back in quickly
b) could compose himself and make a correct decision between crossing and shooting
He often panics and just decides to shoot , which is really annoying when others are better positioned and he isn't set for a shot / position isn't great.
And Amad even better that him.
People site Amads frame as meaning he will be bullied but he has never really been bullied at all cause hee knows how to use his body.
Compare that to James who is always on the floor
i feel like DJ's best role is a 70 min sub off the bench. His pace running at tired defences is the perfect recipe for opportunities.
