The scorelines would be insane for good and for worst. He's a romantic but by pursuing attacking beauty he oftes gets ripped appart because of the amount of space he gives at the back.

Thats great against lesser teams but against top opposition it will play against you more often than not.

Well that was very good!!

What a start from us for a change!! Going 2-0 up inside the open 3 mins and then getting a 3rd in the 20th min. Then scoring a 4th from a corner (can’t believe I’m saying that as our corners this season have been generally pish). Poor defending for their goal from a corner. Don’t know why Fred was marking someone that’s twice the size of him in Liam Cooper.

Overall, very enjoyable 1st half and more of the same please. Can’t stand that mob and dishing out an absolute hammering to them will be terrific!

As strange as it may seem we need to make a change now at half time. I'd replace Fred now. There forwards are going through him and we need more height in defence. Pogba for Fred directly and Greenwood for James on 60 mins.

Credit to Ole for that midfield/attacking line. It may not be eyecatching on paper, but the midfield two of Fred + McTominay just seems to work. It has balance, it looks tight and it then gives players such as Bruno, Martial and Rashford more licence to do their thing.

I'd like to see us exert a bit more control over the game in the second half. I know Leeds are leaving big gaps so the temptation to counter is always there but it's also causing a basketball like dynamic to the game and that plays into their hands while they're trying to get back into it. We would be well served trying to slow the game down and just holding on to the ball at times.
