Who else can we play? Who is eligible??Yeah, we're probably going to take this less seriously now.
It'll be like the Intertoto Cup.No first teamers should set foot on the pitch. I'd like us to start a pretty strong second team then unless it's gone completely to shite and we're in danger of being beaten by six we can take five of our strongest second choice guys off for kids to get a chance.
Chance of a trophy definitely but the downsides are there too. Injuries. Fatigue. And we already have the main prize in the bag. The trophy is okay but it's not the elite competition is it? Nobody is going to bat an eyelid if we won it.
Not even sure we would win it anyway. The tank seems to be empty in a lot of our players. Ability is there. Do they have it in them?

Definitely have players on the bench. Anyone suggesting a team full of kids is nuts against a team of men.

I think the usual suspects (first XI) should be given over a week off now. The main training session for this game will probably be August 3rd. We could give the first XI an even longer break, but I wouldn't be surprised if they join this training session to help the second team prepare a bit more.
