Martial looking a shadow of himself and Rashford looking a little better on the right... i think James might pop up with a few Important goals and assists before xmas. Think Fred has been overlooked again, thought he was amazing tonight, got the ball back in good areas a few time and seemed to drag the team forward most of the times I got it and showed some good skill to do so.

Feel a bit sorry for Cavani, played well and those 90 should do him good, hopefully he gets more starts. Pleased for James but hope that doesn't mean he gets back in the 11 anytime soon. Good win and another game that highlights how sub par we are without Bruno. We are so in need for a top class CB. I was never Smalling greatest fan but Maguire is no better.

We concede that many chances against better teams we will suffer. I can't see us keeping a clean sheet against PSG next but a draw and we are through.

The downside to these growth spurts can be a loss of balance/agility.

Greenwood was a better dribbler 2-3 years ago than he is now, in my opinion. Not that he's bad at dribbling now. It's always harder at senior level.

Welbeck and Rashford also had growth spurts that ended up altering their game somewhat.

I’m fairly sure he can beat a man and pick someone out in the box when he’s confident, it’s more than rash or martial are doing at the minute. They always want to play through the middle and it makes us easier to defend against.

Rashford and Martial are very good, even if Martial has been out of form lately. Hopefully he comes good.

I don't understand the need to trash one player to prove that another is good.

im not trashing anyone. Just talking about current productively and what the players offer

a confident James is a decent problem for ole to have. The truth is he's probably somewhere in between his purple patch and what he’s shown since. He’s had a lot on his plate off the pitch and then to top it off his form totally deserted him but we were also using him way too much when he clearly struggling. It must have been rough. He will never be the main guy at United but he’s still got more to offer and he offers something different to martial and Rashford. He seems to have character anyway. Fair play to him. Good Impact sub. Hopefully he can crack on and chip in.
