    Just cannot believe our defence. Right at the end there is Turk tearing down the left, going in on goal, and he decided to retreat to mark NOBODY. When he should have been closing him down. The defence is a problem.
     
    Very entertaining first half, trash commentary on BT sport from Robbie savage, really doesn’t like Fred does he?!?
     
    Really enjoyed that half. Some great movement and potential to get even more goals. Bruno is just wicked. :drool:

    Wasn't sure about the Cavani signing but I'm really enjoying his movement and energy. Just wish he was younger so we could have him for longer! Need to get him involved more and get more goals out of him.

    When we get things right, it's awesome.
     
    This might be the first game in ages that we have played predominantly on the right wing.

    Got the score right so far, but would love to only be half right. VDB needs to play regular now. Rashford Cavani Martial looks a lot more balanced. Playing well and sometimes superb. Fernandes bossing it again. Its like he doesnt want to score an hatrick with a pen. Thats twice now hes turned it down.
     
    Good half that. Pacey and some nice play at times. Can't complain about a win at half time. Time to rest some key players.
     
    Excellent half. Great passing from Van de beek, Cavani providing a focal point and Rashford/Martial/Bruno causing havoc playing off of him. Fred been a bit sloppy but winning the ball back a lot.

    Bit slack defensively, probably due to winning 3-0 (don't think its due to midfield pairing tbh).
     
    Best attacking half of football all season from United. A few dodgy moments in defence but hopefully a clean sheet is kept 2nd half.

    Seriously, feck this hattrick stuff. We are scre*ed without Bruno, and he plays so many minutes. Just give him a rest when we're 3-0 at home to this lot. We've got alternatives.
     
    Not sure if we are playing amazing or they are terrible.

    Either way I'm enjoying this. 3 up and we could get more in the second half.

    We play down whichever area Rashford is playing in.

    If Marcus was playing at rightback, that's where United would concentrate their game.
     
    I don't know why all coaches avoid to play Rashy on rw. He had some stinkers there but also some nice games
     
    Bruno, Rashford and Martial off please, they can be rested now. Give either Maguire or Lindelöf a rest too, played too much recently.

    Because we have players in midfield particularly Van De Beek, who will predominantly pick a forward pass, and keep the impetus of an attack going, rather than doing the sideways and backwards passing thing that we have been so adept at.

    These are the two worst posts I’ve ever seen on here. Forget the choice of extreme words to describe a misplaced pass. Caps lock and begrudging him a goal in a match where he has played well. How did you become a full member?
     
    Nice to be entertained for a change. Some great attacking play. I like Rashford and martial flanking Cavani. VDB looks good in the number 6 slot, rarely misplaces a pass - (unlike Fred) and can play it forward.

    100%, I like the set up. Maguire and Lindelof though give me nightmares.
     
    Basaksehir being a average side at best, is exactly why this is exciting in my opinion. Don't care if we could have conceded a couple, we're creating plenty against a defensive team, that's new.
