Happy with any combination as long as we play a back 4, play both Herrera + Fellaini, drop RVP.
Like those lineups. Herrera for Hull, then bring the muscle back in for Stoke. Would love to see what happens if the Stoke thugs try to kick lumps out of Fellaini.v Hull

We should have no problems against Hull, even in our situation. They haven't won in 4 or scored in their last 3. Hopefully we see a performance like we saw against QPR.
We play Stoke on the Tuesday, so I would imagine there will be some changes for this game. This won't be easy but we should edge it. Do we have any players back for this? Falcao, Herrera?
We do because we have a game on the Saturday and Stoke on the Tuesday, playing the same side in both is asking for someone to get injured.I don't think we need to rotate. We have enough injuries as it is, and no other football to worry about. Play our strongest XI.

Guess Rafael can play LB if Shaw is out ? Has he played there before ? I seem to vaguely remember a few times ?
His brother played both sides ofcourse so confusing a well.

I don't think he's a serious option there. Fabio played both sides a few times but I think Rafa was always on the right. Besides, if he moves to cover an injured Shaw that just leaves us needing someone to cover him, and we end up with two out-of-position FBs. Better to leave Rafa where he is and either trust Young (who's generally been ok as a makeshift defender this season) or gamble on a youngster.
I've got a feeling Shaw's injury won't keep him out for long though.

Valencia can play RB and is doing decently well as deputy but Young as LB would be a disaster for me. He can work as Wingback but not as a fullback. That's why thought of shifting Rafael across.
Guess we could play Blackett, James or Vermijl there whoever LVG likes at LB.
Hope you are right about Shaw tho. Don't want a 3-5-2 vs next week's teams again and the drop off would be signficant at LB otherwise.
Will we stick to 3-5-2 or was it just for that one match? Hoping for a 4-2-2 diamond with Mata as No.10 and Falcao and Rooney as strikers
I actually would love to see RvP not being dropped and hopefully he can get one or two goals against our next two rivals and get some confidence and hopefully his best form back. Dont forget what such a world class striker he can be on his day.
If he doesn't deliver, maybe LvG will finally realize he needs to be dropped in favour of wilson or falcao.
