Hull City Association Football Club (nicknamed The Tigers), are a professional football club based in Hull, England. They were founded on 28 June 1904 after previous attempts to found a football club had proved difficult because of the dominance in the city of rugby teams such as Hull FC and Hull Kingston Rovers. Hull's greatest achievement in cup competitions until 2014 was in 1930, when they reached the FA Cup semi-finals. The cup run saw Hull knock out the eventual champions of the Second and Third Divisions; Blackpool and Plymouth Argyle. They then knocked out Manchester City, and Newcastle United in the quarter-finals. After decades of turbulence, and languishing in lower leagues, Hull had a revival in fortunes at the start of the 21 st century - earning back to back promotions to the Championship in the mid 2000s, and subsequently to the Premier League in 2008. Hull's most prominent rivalries include Leeds United and Sheffield United; and they play their home games at the KCOM Stadium, Kingston upon Hull.

No fecking around. Early goal needed and get a solid win to build confidence for the Leicester match.

I think he will play Rashford Ibrahimovic and Martial as his front three.

XI will probably be along the lines of:

    De Gea
    Valencia Jones Rojo Darmian
    Carrick
    Herrera Pogba
    Mkhitaryan Zlatan Rashford
Could be Blind (or Shaw) instead of Darmian. And also Fellaini instead of Carrick.

Sick of this team for Christ sake

    De Gea
    Valencia Jones Rojo Shaw
    Pogba Herrera
    Mata Mkhitaryan Martial
    Zlatan

We should never go for a 433 against smaller teams that sit back a lot. It hardly ever works.

They will have taken confidence from Thursday's match. Have to start at full pelt.

    -----------De Gea--------

    Valencia-Jones-Rojo-Shaw

    ------------Carrick---------

    ----Herrera------Pogba----

    -Mikhi-----Zlatan---Martial-

    3-0 Zlatan hattrick

    Team should be...

    -------------De Gea-------------
    Valencia--Jones--Rojo--Blind
    -------Herrera----Pogba-------
    Mkhitaryan--Mata--Martial
    -------------Zlatan--------------

Subs: Romero, Smalling, Carrick, Fellaini, Lingard, Rashford, Rooney

Hope not having a 2-0 advantage will be beneficial and the players will put in a better effort rather than just trying to see it out. Barring the ref gifting them a penalty and the team allowing Hull players run free into the 6-yard box (looking at you Darmian, Rojo and Rooney), this should be a win.

Rashford to play this and Martial to play v Leicester.
Can't see Martial having to play 3 games in a week if he doesn't have to.
Mata to play on the right with Miki being rested for the same reason.

    think we will smash them

    ---------------------------------DDG-----------------------------
    Valencia-------Jones---------------------Bailly----------Shaw
    -------------------------------Carrick---------------------------
    ----------------------Herrera------------Pogba----------------
    Mhiki---------------------Zlatan------------------------Martial

bring on Rashford for Zlatan, Mata for Carrick and Lingard for Mhiki - rest them for the weekend against Leicester

if results go our way and Chelsea take points off Liverpool we could be overtaking them soon - City's run isn't too bad

I'd start Bailly in this. Hopefully get Shaw some more minutes depending on how the game goes.

    Dave
    Valencia - Bailly - Rojo - Blind
    Carrick
    Herrera - Pogba
    Mkhi - Zlatan - Martial

As long as Rooney and Smalling are nowhere near the first XI I'll be happy.

Argh this lot again. Expect a tight affair, 1-1 or 2-1.

Mourinho might lose Martial psychologically if he doesn't start him, but having played 90' today…

Getting the chance to rest our first choice midfield, plus Zlatan and Valencia, should pay dividends. Hull played well the other day, but had a couple of penalty decisions gone our way we could have won the tie at the canter playing like crap.

The bottom line is we should have too much for them at home. Anything but a win is unacceptable.

I hope he plays Martial and Shaw but I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't.

United could have 30 games if it goes to the end of all competitions till the end of the season, instead of Liverpool's 16, for instance.

I hope he plays Martial and Shaw but I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't.
Even in terms of fitness, it could be a weird decision. Shaw hasn't played in a while and Martial this season has been known to have difficulty playing every game in a row.

We will be too good for Hull this time. They also played today and I don't think they have enough options for good squad rotation like we do. Expecting another comfortable victory and hopefully being that bit closer to top 4.

Bailly should be ready to return. Not sure if Martial will be rested or not for Sunday but I reckon he should be given a good run of games now. Maybe Rashford will come in for this one and Martial will play on Sunday.

    De Gea
    Valencia Jones Rojo Shaw
    Herrera Pogba
    Mkhitaryan Mata Martial
    Ibrahimovic

Lets go hammer them. Probably the most attacking/exciting team we could possibly play, only Bailly being in for Jones I guess would make it "better". Don't need to use Carrick for this I don't think, with us being at home.

Fellaini will play with Pogba and Herrera in midfield, it's why he took him off early(and he's relatively fresh).

My first game at OT in a while thanks to @GlasgowRedz Hopefully the boys turn up for me and we finally get our rout that has been on the cards for a while.

Yeah this, more than likely. 3 -1 for the good guys ;)
Jose can't and won't be taking this game for granted.
Bailly will get some minutes, if not starting.
Picking subs will be tough but I hope we're up by 2 goals with half an hour to go because I'd like to see Luke get more game time. That said, I think we'll see Blind come on and Felly too to close out the win

I get the feeling Martial and Shaw will be back on the bench, I just hope Jose unleashes the beast.

Feels like we play Hull every other game

I'm thinking it will be an annoying 1-0 win, but hopefully we absolutely batter them.
