I never really got the calls for Forson as a #9 to be honest. I've seen him a lot with the U18's and U21's and he's always been an attacking midfielder / wide striker. The #9's have been the likes of Hugill, McNeill, now Wheatley. Occasionally a 'false' one playing out of position, so Forson may have played there very infrequently.

Moving Rashford to centre, Garnacho to left, and bringing in either Antony, Amad or Forson on the right always seemed the far most likely option.

Of course, they're all mobile so they'll likely switch during the game.

Depends on each game and situation, I suppose. If putting him there when subbed on would require multiple players who might be having good games to change their positions, it might not be smart.

To me this makes sense as both him and Garna get to play in their natural positions.

not a great first 15. Fulham dominating. Nothing to worry about yet but…Varane lets ball roll under foot…out for a throw. Casemiro plays ball straight out for a throw. Mainoo trying a long ball smashes Forson on the back of the head…out for a throw. Pretty much sums us up so far

need to up it though and improve quickly.
