Nothing to write home about and that includes winning the Europa League. Jose managed to get us into the last 16 of the champions League (that is a bigger achievement than Europa League in my opinion), finished second as well and most of us thought his time was up as that wasn't acceptable. Same should be said of ole, there is nothing about how we play that makes me think we will challenge next year.

I still stand by what I said. If you disagree then say so.So many unknowns in this game. First game in front of a crowd for a while, players individually will have been affected by that in different ways. Players consciously or not may well have been playing with the final in mind, just doing enough, not getting injured etc. I didn't think we were too bad, it was played pretty much at half tilt. I think they know that this team is the team that will play in the final and it was a case of don't lose, don't get injured etc.
Granted, I'm reading a lot into it, but I've had a couple of Lansdowns after Cavani's goal and I'm happy with it.
I'd still rather Fred in the team than McT. But that's probably just me.
