FF giving the assist to De Gea, not Bruno. Personally, I don't think Bruno touched it, so I agree, reluctantly as Bruno is my Captain. Therefore, Cavani offside, no goal.

    :wenger::confused:

That is really strange. They gave the assist to DDG but didn't rule it as offside?

So you don't give us any credit for a fantastic away record then? Seeing as it's all the same like?
And you don't think playing in front of no 0 at home has absolutely nothing to do with the amount of home defeats we've seen this season? See as there's no correlation. You're focusing on one and ignoring the other.

I read Cavani's idol growing up was Batistuta. I didn't really watch Serie A growing up so didn't get to see the best of him but how similar are the two beyond their hairstyles?

Nearly suplexed my brother off the East Stand when that goal went in.

Absolute privilege to be in the stadium for that goal
Love that you are posting on red cafe during the match. That’s a new meaning for match day thread!

Steady first half. We’ve largely controlled the game without creating loads of clear cut chances, some silly moments in defence but we’ve got away with them so far. Cavani would have had goal of the season for us if we hadn’t had voted already, touch of offside but Bruno can claim that he tapped it with his studs on the way through and no one would know the wider so it’s understandable that the original decision was upheld. The second goal is there if we up the tempo.

Took the slightest of graze off Bruno's boot. Trust Sky and Souness to want this incredible moment chalked off.

Agree. Definitely need to purchase a commanding, fast CB this summer. Evidence is there as we look all over the place at the back without Maguire. I don’t trust Lindelof.
Him or the other two. If Maguire is injured we are fecked. Lindelof can be good but he is definitely weak and cannot be trusted to lead the back line. We need another CB for sure and not just a prospect.

In about the 42 minute they showed a lad in a sharp looking Green & Gold kit for about thirty seconds, and he didn't look up from his phone once!

2 central defenders who are poor in the air and a keeper who doesn't come for crosses. I've seen enough mistakes from Dave this season, regardless of an error by Henderson in the previous game.
And we've seen mistakes from Henderson over a much smaller sample size. Fact is, both of our keepers have flaws, so seeing either name on the team sheet doesn't exactly inspire confidence.

I didn't say there was no correlation, I'm the one saying that our home record should be better because I still think there are tangible benefits to playing at home. Equally I think our away record is fantastic but unlikely to be repeated next season so improving home form to challenge is kinda important.

Just to clarify -- I am no better with my phone and internet addiction. I have to leave my phone in the other room when watching the lads these days otherwise I just scroll all the jokes and comments on twitter.

Amazing how good Maguire looks when he's got the iceman next to him, makes you think.
Ferdinand had to carry Barthez and Silvestre/Blanc for a bit before getting Edwin and Vidic. 'arry's doing his initiation with having to put up with Lindelof/Bailly and a past it de Gea before getting some decent partners.

Scoring all types of goals is what Batigol was good at, I think Cavani is quite similar but probably not as agile and probably less twists and turns.
