We'll hope to make it difficult for Fulham. Since we're at home, there's every chance we could give them a game. We've got to utilise Lukaku and get some high, raking balls up to him in the hope that he can lay it off and get on the end of every one of Young's 100 attempted crosses.

Injured from Arsenal..Before Liverpool had VVD they did concede a few more goals, however, it didn't stop them playing attacking, scintillating football. The whole notion that if your defence is weak you can't attack fiercely and press high is nonsense. The only tools that push that mentality are those that don't understand that defending isn't comprised of four or five defenders, but, as Barcelona and others have demonstrated, defending begins with the first striker and ends with the last defender/GK. If you defend well as a team from front to back then you don't need to have world class CB's to make it work, especially against small teams!!
