I’m very much a supporter of ETH but given how badly we’ve played in every single game this season apart form 10-15mins here or there it’s not acceptable. Crashing out of this group should be a sackable offence if it happens.
That being said I really want to know why the football side of our club is so broken. We’ve had every type of manger, we’ve spent plenty of money, we’ve had promising young players come through. Despite the Glazers there remains no excuse for us being so poor.
I’ve said before that it may be time to back the manager over any and all of the squad. The players have downed tools and forced managers out. Now may be the time for the likes of Richard Arnold and John Murtough to talk to the dressing room and say ‘ETH is our man. We will sell any and all of you before sacking Erik’. Player power has ruled our club too long and it needs to be ended.
