There's no way Scott can do it. That player has to be better on the ball and able to pass through the lines, while being a calming presence. Fred and Scott are erratic.

Yeah it's strange. We started doing it at the end of the season for some reason.

I'm not sure if Ole is asking him to do it, but it's giving us less shape defensively and in the final third.

We all know Lukaku is a flat track bully, and even then his record is distinctly average. 12 league goals in his last season at Utd, 16 the year before. The poor attacking ability of our fullbacks kills so much of our momentum when we get the ball in decent positions. That's why we have to rely so much on going through the middle. I would take two attacking full backs (or one of those and possibly a new centre back) over Sancho right now.

Me too. I don't get it and I don't think I've ever seen a top team win trophies by emptying their midfield completely. We're too easy to play against at times because of it and we concede too many chances from losing possession just outside of our box
