Yeah it's an open game, with plenty of chances going both ways that should have been dispatched. This could conceivably have been a Portsmouth-Reading 7-4-type game, the problem there though is Portsmouth were no world beaters and Reading were downright wank, and I recall Redknapp being disappointed with his team's lack of control of the game.
Today we've won the game, hopefully by at least two goals, but everyone knows it's been a scruffy performance that has not been in any way easy on the eye, and that's frustrating for many fans (as I type they're having chances and we're trying and failing to counter, rather than putting them to the sword).Have Everton got to 20+ attempts yet?
