We will come roaring back and smash them 1-0, with 2 shots and 28% possession.
Ah yes, Sean Dyche and his infamous possession-based football. They edged the possession stats 51-49 last time we met and that was at Goodison Park where we were defending a lead from the 3rd minute.

Everton have only managed over 20 shots 4 times this season - yep, once was us. No doubt another this weekend too.
Past caring how we play as we all know how we will set up and play. If we win, it will be more luck than good management.

Without Rasmus and a proper LB we might actually draw this one.... only to beat Liverpool unexpectedly 1-0 the next week with a heavy dose of luck.
This United team is unpredictable, other than 'shite overall' as a summery for the season.

I hope Garnacho can reach Foden's goal and assist output within the next 2 seasons.
He's a mega talent and a bright spot and so on, but his goal and assist output hasn't been THAT stellar tbh need a bit more from one of our future 3 star players (the other two beeing Rasmus and Mainoo).

Are we unpredictable? We generally are terrible against top sides, it’s not like an LvG team where we spank a top team then lose to shitters.

When you are defending a Manchester United team with a stat that a Sean Dyche team “only” had slightly more possession than us, you know that the team has problems.

We win the game 3-0. It was evidence of no problems.

Weird how people will use any excuse to moan at the team.

Generally, you have to look past individual match scores and judge based on performances. The Everton away match was not a good performance and we were fortunate to get a win. Nothing to complain about but also not something to laud either.

Ah, the old lucky 3-0 win.

Ah, the old lucky 3-0 win.

We followed it up with poor results against Galatasaray and Newcastle. Must have been a real surprise to you after that amazing 3-0 win. The reality was that getting pummelled for large parts of the match by an average Everton team and relying on them missing several chances isn’t actually indicative of a good performance.

Two clubs with nothing really to play for now. Will either be 4-4 or 0-0.
We absolutely have plenty to play for. We can still get top 4 let alone 5th.
United are famed for playing right to the end. With your sentiment we’d never have won the treble.
Everton are very beatable, and we’ll make up ground with Spurs and Villa facing each other.

Are we expecting any of the injured players back? If not, might be something like:

    Onana

    Kambwala
    Varane
    Lindelof
    Dalot

    Casemiro
    Mainoo
    McT

    Antony
    Bruno
    Garnacho

Until we play with purpose and an identity, most games like this one will be a struggle where we try and string together a series of counterattacks to score the odd goal and scrape a win or draw. It’s embarrassing even for an injury plagued squad like ours.

If I had to predict the score I’d say a 2-1 win with Rashford on the scoresheet and claiming he is proving his doubters wrong.

I believe we can win this game. I have foreseen it. 2-1. Evans and Bruno (Pen) the goalscorers.

    4.30pm?

With Rasmus back I think we will have more chance, don't know the availability of some others like Evans etc but assume we have Rasmus plus whoever was available to start last game, I would go with:

    Onana
    Kambwala Varane Evans Dalot
    Casemiro Mainoo
    Amad Bruno Garnacho
    Hojlund

Yes! I know Amad won't start but I don't see how we can keep starting Rashford with the lack of effort, while Bruno has been poor for some time he puts the work in and Mount isn't available and he's the captain so I am slightly more forgiving but Rashford cannot start again surely just based off his lack of effort constantly.

We all know the drill by now. Scrappy 1-goal win or embarrassing loss.

Whatever the result the performance is a guaranteed stink show.

Go life and death with a poor Everton side before hailing it as a new dawn. Standard.

Were you drunk when you typed this or.....?
Dyslexia. Main point was two struggling teams in action and will likely be a struggle for both sets of supporters to watch this game. On the topic of drink, some might help while watching it or getting drunk once the game is over.

Comfortable 2-1 victory coming up with McSauce scoring the winner with a header in injury time.

They (Everton) are struggling now.. they can't score goals. We must get a good result at home against this mob. Surely.

Are we unpredictable? We generally are terrible against top sides, it’s not like an LvG team where we spank a top team then lose to shitters.

Yeah, but we also lost to Fulham and Bournemouth at home, which I totally didn't see coming.

If Lindelof starts at Left back I won’t bother watching. Just tape it so I can watch later and analyse the tactics (if any) but am not expecting anything great. This team at their best are unfathomable and can go from good to chronic in the blink of an eye.

He's only playing there because there's a genuine injury crisis in which literally no other full back besides Dalot is fit. Of course, there probably would be if we hadn't inexplicably let Reguilon go back to Spurs.

I know Reguilon was unlikely to be a long term solution but as a season long loan he would have been fine to have around. Totally baffled how we got rid of him.

I am well aware of the situation with the Left back choices and agree entirely with your ideas about Reguilon. However, I think Lindelof is such a liability at LB that there must be a kid in the reserves who could take his place. I really cannot stand seeing him on the pitch anymore. Never rated him ever since he joined and doubt we would get much money if he were sold.
