A game for Dean Henderson to step into the limelight
Half their first team was out.It wasn't 2nd string Southampton side.
You’ve been disappointed with two clean sheets in a row by de Gea, it’s not good enough, right?A game for Dean Henderson to step into the limelight
That would be a great result, cos it'll mean they beat Citeh. They need to improve quickly though. 3 poor games on the run, never mind that they beat Leeds. Anyone else see another comfortable win coming?Win their 2 games in hand and they’re 3rd
Leeds had chances but got hit by their usual sucker punch. Good win by Everton but I’d expect Carlo to out think BielsaThat would be a great result, cos it'll mean they beat Citeh. Changed to what? Sorry, I am not following.Mental the thread title still hasn’t been changed

Everton seem to be in rather poor form based on those results, no?
Everton are Everton. You never know if they're gonna brilliant or the drizzling shits. Changes from week to week.Everton seem to be in rather poor form based on those results, no?
Won 2, lost 2 and drawn 1 in their last 5. Far from fine form.

De Gea has been brilliant in the past 2 games. I just feel Dean should be granted a chance as well to prove his worth, if he as good as the hype suggests. After all, some people on here were pushing for him to be first choice not too long ago.
Yes. As was said before Pogtic slow the game down too much. We need greasy speed. Speeds the key. McFred and high energy football will win the day.Who said that? It's clear that Fred and McTominay are trusted as a pair to do the defensive job (and spring attacks) against teams that are likely to press us and run a lot. Matic and Pogba are preferred in games against slower teams that are likely to drop deep. Each partnership has its merits which Ole plumps for accordingly. It's not always going to be quite so rigid but that's what we've been doing in recent months to pretty good effect.
Well, it depends on what you deem 'actual football'. He's trusted the Fred and McTominay combo in the majority of games in recent months and we've won most of them. Fred and McTominay obviously aren't Pogba levels when it comes to their offensive contributions, but they are able to move the ball fast (Fred especially), spring quick attacks and their ability to press and harry the opposition is vital to how we attack. I'll be surprised if we see the Pogba-Matic axis anytime soon after the Sheffield United farce, to be honest.
Greasy speed I love that. Deffo wanna see more greasy speed on the pitch.Yes. As was said before Pogtic slow the game down too much. We need greasy speed. Speeds the key. McFred and high energy football will win the day.
why ? Dont change the keeper just for the sake of changing the keeper. DDG is our No1 and rightly so.A game for Dean Henderson to step into the limelight
Good point - why not drop Bruno and give Donny a run in as well. While we at it, Telles needs some game time too so drop Luke Shaw as well....De Gea has been brilliant in the past 2 games. Nice. I like where you are going with this. We've been using red kits too much also. Bust out the greenies.Good point - why not drop Bruno and give Donny a run in as well. While we at it, Telles needs some game time too so drop Luke Shaw as well....
I’d be open to giving VDB more game time. I can’t quite figure out what type of player he is and what he offers the team just yet.Good point - why not drop Bruno and give Donny a run in as well. While we at it, Telles needs some game time too so drop Luke Shaw as well....

This. Dean will have Fa Cup and EL to get a good run out. Same with Donny and Telles I expect.why ? Dont change the keeper just for the sake of changing the keeper. DDG is our No1 and rightly so.
Any news on Cavani? Remember Ole saying they'll wait to see how the swelling is first.
So that we don't waste the spot with a youngster. It's not like Man Utd are the only team who has an ageing veteran as the third choice.Looking at the selections options to the right of my screen, I'm struck by a question that I really feel needs answering...
Why does Lee Grant play for Man Utd?
What???Have you ever seen a green zebra....Nice. I like where you are going with this. We've been using red kits too much also. Bust out the greenies.
Back in the day I used to think that was the key too but the come down lasted days, so be careful what you wish for.Yes. As was said before Pogtic slow the game down too much. We need greasy speed. Speeds the key. McFred and high energy football will win the day.

They don't seem to create many chances lately.

Hes scored against them too, he likes EvertonNeed to use the momentum of the Southampton game and win this one. Especially as City and Liverpool are playing. Hopefully the scousers can get back to winning ways, just for a game.
I think we need to start our strongest team, which for me is;
DDGMight be tempted to start Martial, he's had a confidence boost.
AWB, Maguire, Lindelof, Shaw
Pogba, Fred
Greenwood, Fernandes, Rashford
Cavani
Jonathan Moss
