Need to get the fullbacks or one of Fred and McTominay to sit back a little deeper and stick to their forwards now. 2 goals up, we can comfortably play on the counter.

Might even get Van de Beek on and drop McTominay into defense to make it a 3-5-2 and match their formation.

Bruno's gonna kill Fred on social media for that shot.

It's funny that bruno has probably not been as good in the past month or so by his high standards and yet he's is still consistently either scoring or making the assist during this period, what happens if he picks his form up again...

Brilliant half with great control. We've made Everton look ordinary. It's such as shame that Pogba got injured, he was playing well. Hope it's a standard hamstring at worst.

But there is only one moment everyone will be talking about after that half. Majestic from the magnifico. The Cantona comparisons look even more apt now. The attackers were quiet for 20 mins, but have since woken up. You can see that Rashford has been working on playing from the right, it has made him more unpredictable. Greenwood has had a good game too.

If we cut out the mistakes at the back, we'll win this comfortably. I don't want a nervous last 10 mins after conceding from a mistake. Keep going lads.

    Amazing.

Get the third early in the half and kill the game.

Everton only look dangerous when we fall asleep.

That’s A long time. Hopefully it’s not that bad for Pogba
Yeah. Was strongly limping for a couple of weeks and it just felt really weak for about a month. Muscle injuries are weird and just take time to come back from. But can see it being a 4-6 week thing. Pogba has history with them so hopefully he isn't rushed back.

We are playing very well against a decent side. AWB is upped his attacking play a lot but he need to watch his defensive line better. Greenwood is doing very well on the right if he an grow into RW than we can buy Haaland insted of Sancho (?). Cavani is a true warrior a perfect example for our young players. He is the first who deservs to wear the no.7 shirt since Ronaldo (Valencia was ok but had not the impact of Cavani). It was a steal if you ask me. Bruno's goal was Cantonaesque!

No fecking around in the second half. They definitely have a goal in them.

Greenwood my player of the match so far. Looks back in the mood.
He looks really really good on the rest of his game and its been like this for a while. He hasn't been able to get himself into shooting situations yet, has more input on general play than rashford.

Bruno's gonna kill Fred on social media for that shot.

Good. I love what he's done to the team. McTominay was thirst trapping last year for the Beckys, and he wrote that he better be working on his left foot.

Looks a tight game with our defence doing a good job of the attackers high turnover rates

Couple of things I’ve noticed, great cross by rashford and then I think he’s lost the ball every single time he’s had it since
And there should be someone telling Fred that if he ever shoots with his roght foot again they’ll chop it off

    Greenwood goal now please :)

Bruno channeling his inner Eric with that goal and celebration. Lord have mercy, it was fine...:drool::drool:

Why is AWB always deepest? You never see this with Shaw. It could have cost us again today.

    Bruno is Cantonaesque.

Really, Really good half and a deserved lead. After a slow start we pinned them back and scored deservedly 2 goals. Luckily they didn't score at the end of a half.

We definitely turned a corner I feel.

That Bruno goal was just filthy. I felt like I was watching it in slow motion.

I've been so impressed with us this half, all of the front 4 have been so good. I fancy Greenwood for a goal in the second half, he's made everything look so effortless tonight.

Still, the threat of a second is there. Maybe we can pull on the reins a little in the second half, and tighten up with McTominay and Fred in the middle, and look for that third goal to finish Everton off.

Loved how measured it all was. He looked and looked and then scored.

The Everton defenders were really polite though, they probably thought it would be rude to interrupt him.

In hindsight they should have closed him down, but it looked like good positioning to me at first. They'd blocked all avenues except the shot and only an idiot would shoot from there. I was in the process of letting out an audible sigh when I realised he was going to shoot from there

Please manage this game now. Ancelotti will have them coming out straight out the blocks.

Ah, yeah, I saw something about that earlier. Just had to be pointed out that we’ve been mostly terrible at home in the very next sentence..

If we win today, our Home record is third in the league, and 1 away.

We had a really terrible start, whereas we've had an away form that mathces City's home form.

Everton has won the last 5 out of 6 away games in the league so they're already on a really good run of form. Its nice to see the boys dominate a traditionally hard game, especially on a day like this.

He looks really really good on the rest of his game and its been like this for a while. He hasn't been able to get himself into shooting situations yet, has more input on general play than rashford.
Yep. Overall game has been very good from Greenwood.
Rashford, before the goal, was looking like he was going to have one of those games again. Luckily he's woken up abit.

We’re playing better than we have all season. The SU and Arsenal games have given us the jolt we needed.

The stats already suggest this, but that first half has demonstrated how Bruno commands the sole focus of our side when Pogba is not on the pitch.

The goal was only scored about 10 min

A goal worthy of Sir Bobby, Duncan Edwards, Tommy Taylor and the rest of those heroes. Get in Bruno!
