Decent first half.. much better than some of the others we've had recently.
Definitely need to bring on Herrera for the second half and maybe even bring Sanchez on for Mata around 60-65 mins.

Matic having another stinker.

His awareness off the ball and tracking runners is absolutely awful.

Rest of the team have been good though, pogba/fred/martial loves playing at a quicker tempo than the rest.

It's better than what we've seen before. A lot of room for improvement but going forward a bit better. Especially on LW. Defensively we still look shaky. Something's not right with Matic and Shaw has been very poor.

We were pretty decent. Dropping Lukaku was the right decision, Rashford has not performed well, but his movement atleast has helped our players.

Pogba and Martial really playing well, running the show.

Everton have been poor, think a better side punishes us easily. Matic is so off the pace it's frightening, you know he's in bother when Sigurdsson is zipping past effortlessly. I think even a rusty Fred is giving us urgency going forward, Martial and Pogba been very good. Still too many back passes and flat. United are just strolling through games this season, hard to be too enthusiastic.

Why do a stupid run up like that?

If the point is to put the keeper off and make it easier to score then it's clearly not working is it since he's missed two of the last 3.

How many times has he even sent the keeper the wrong way? They seem to guess the right way each time.

Pen was one of those where ex players say he should've gone down, Martial was fouled and went down.

Used to be the received wisdom was that a forward really should not miss a penalty. The odds favour the taker, not the goalkeeper, but that has changed some in recent years. Either blast it like a cannonball or place it where the keeper can't get to it. You'd get the odd save but I don't get the old soft-shoe shuffle during the run-up. Makes me think Pogba was indecisive but, luckily, he got away with it.

He's got to stop this nonsense. If the keeper doesn't inexplicably dive early he's basically got a standing pace kick at it, which isn't effective.

He's scored more than he's missed. Mahrez does 'normal' run ups and has missed more.
