13/14 predicted correctly except Ashley young. Darn missed out by one prediction.

City struggled to get a draw with this Everton we just hammered 4-0. What are the odds that we'll hammer Watford 7-0? :D

We seem to score flurry of goals in the final stages of the games in a mid 3. have to keep our selves on toes for majority of matches.

If only fellani was avalibale at stoke, huges would have been given a proper beating.

I thought you were really average in the 2nd half but switched off at 80 minutes to do something in the house, surprised to see it finish 4-0. You lacked any kind of urgency for large spells of the game but must have turned it on at the end there.

Manchester clubs running away with it... we've got Palace H then Chelsea A, really looking forward to see how we get on in that test.

Oh you can come out with that now we've scored. It's our worst performance of the season against an awful Everton. Despite the final scoreline.
How can that be our worst performance?

We constantly looked to score and were never content with 1-0. There was a period in the game where we took our foot of the pedal but it's not possible to dominate a game for 90 minutes, anyone expecting us to do that has unrealistic expectations.

Everton never really threatened us because we dominated the midfield.

Anyone saying that was our worst performance of the season is in for a fecking shock at some point this year. Anyone would have thought we were on the end of a 4-0 battering the way people were talking in here at half time just because we didn't put Everton to the sword in the first 20 minutes.

Think about this for a minute. We weren't at our best today but we won 4-0. Let that sink in for a minute.

Ashley Young done good today, even if he was a bit exposed but coped fairly well defensively & offers plenty going forward opposed to Blind or Darmain

Jose mourinho has turned fellani into a weapon that hurts others, rather than ourselves.

Half the forum are saying we played like crap today. My comments you responded to were at 1-0 and 2-0 and we had been poor. I'm happy with the win. 4-0 is great but we didn't play well that was obvious to see.

Today and Stoke were clearly our worst performances so far as in the other games we played very well. It's not even debatable, that was clearly one of our worst performances so far.

Whilst we didn't dominate the possession and we let Everton have a go and ask a few questions, we didn't look that uncomfortable sitting back to defend the lead. With Matic as our pivot, we looked to nullify the danger and initiate counter-attacks to punish our opponents. I agree that we weren't very stable defensively on the left-side, with Young being an inverted wide attacker and we did lose Rooney and Sigurdsson on a few occasions but otherwise we were fine.

The team is not set up to dominate possession, but to counter-attack and be more direct with the ball. If you expected us to play possession football then I'm sorry but LVG is no longer the manager. The Special One rarely favours possession over fast-paced, direct play.

I'd say about 250/1. 10,000,000/1 if you have to do it with 10 men.

They had two one on one chances with De Gea in the second half, our ball retention was shite and we barely had Lukaku involved all second half. At one point we were so worried with the ball out our feet that we just hoofed it up as soon as we could. Yet we didn't look uncomfortable ..They gifted us a second goal and the scoreline doesn't reflect the performance at all. Well happy to batter Everton 4-0 as an end result, but the performance itself was utter horrible

I get your point. What worried me, however, was a bit of a trend from last season, where we couldn't kill the game when we should have and the other team was coming at us without having an answer.
De Gea pulled some great saves and we were lucky they couldn't finish better - Rooney and Sigurdson.

I think Mourinho should've brought Hererra earlier than he did. Jesse had a positive impact, but we were still lacking security in the middle of the park. Once Hererra was in then the game turned around.

There was a period of about 25-30 minutes in the second half where we were struggling to keep up with the game. To me we should've, not dominated the whole game, but look a bit more in control during that span.

I casually predicted 4-0 purely based on no other reason other than in deference to our first 2 games. Can't believe it actually happened ...

What I love is how we can score multiple goals in such a short space of time when we want to turn it on. If only we'd scored one more we'd be sitting pretty at the top of the league, but we go on to the next game-week. Both Manchester clubs are looking scarily good at the minute.

Had a hunch Young might win a place in the starting 11 ... I thought with his lack of playing time he might come off the bench to replace Blind. Really stresses our weakness at LB as Young looks far more comfortable at RB imo.
I also got the decision to start Rashford wrong as I thought he needed a break/rest. Martial was my first choice pick and still think he'd have done more than young Marcus who didn't seem at the races at all today.
Matic and Mhiki for me were the two that held it together for us today with Matic just edging it for motm. Solid from big Felly but Mata struggled to have much impact; Lukaku hung in despite a couple of gilt edged chances early on ... credit to him for his work rate!
We clearly missed the flair Pogba gives us but had Lukaku side-footed in (instead of wide) to make it 2 nil midway through he first half, we might have romped it much earlier. As it was, we made hard work of it until we finally capitilaised on one of several defensive errors this disjointed Everton team made today.
    Job done! Next ...

Glad I changed my score prediction from 3-0 to 4-0 after Everton's Europa performance
