Bad feeling about this. With Everton in bad form and likely to miss McCarthy and Coleman we know whats going down. They'll both play, our defence will be all over the place with no protection from midfield and Everton won't look like they've been in Russia at all. 1-2 to them and rant over.

don't think so. its not just our defense. even they are poor at the back. i think it will be a high scoring game :D

I would play fletcher-blind-di maria in the midfield today.

I'm probably the biggest Valencia critic on here but I'd play him instead of Herrera today over Fletcher. He's got a better engine than Fletch and will do more defensive work, especially helping Rafael on that flank which will be key with Baines there. He also has a good partnership with Rafael going forward and with Rafael there we won't be begging for Valencia to do something attacking, Rafael will be there doing that as well as he ever does.

    DDG
    Rafael - McNair - Rojo - Shaw
    Blind
    Valencia Di Maria
    Mata
    Van Persie - Falcao

    Cheer up! We'll do 'em!

Why is everyone so confident? I don't know how people think today will be easy, we always make things hard for ourselves and this is a typical game to be dropping points.

Really not liking this chat of Valencia in midfield... If our only central is Blind we'll get annihilated! I'd be seriously tempted to rush one of Carrick or even Fellaini back for this one, but if neither are ready Fletcher has to play surely?

Fergie and 3Lungs being unveiled before the game as club ambassadors

It's all setup for Falcao to shine, come on El Tigre!

    Cheer up! We'll do 'em!
I've no doubt the manager will get it right eventually but we look way to shaky and unbalanced. A bit of hangover from last season doesn't help either.

I think Rafael can do that even without Valencia. If we play fletcher on the right, he will put pressure on baines right from the middle of the field. Valencia tends to involve too much in the attack at times, which can trigger that crucial baines-lukaku cross.

Considering the fact that baines is a very good LB, its better if we stick all our attack from the left side and center, just for todays game.

Its early days but it feels like a massive game already. We've dropped too many points for us to be losing games like this.

Hope we score enough goals today because I cannot see us not conceding any.

    dont know what you mean.
Bet is when will the lineups be out, 1.30 or an hour before the game.

You're both saying the same thing. The line ups will be announced 1 hour before "kick off" or "the game". It's the same.

Do we need any more motivation than those scrotes winning yesterday? I'm not even thinking about the league title, but top 4 is doable. Them and Arsenal are our main rivals for that.

Oh come on, cheer up ffs.

Cheer up you miserable twats, we have the best strike force in the premier league for f(u)ck sake.

So do Everton. They've been awful thus far and are only 1 place above the relegation zone I think.

Really don't know what to expect from Everton. They could play out of their skins and launch their way back to good form (like many other teams have done).

It's either going to be a 2-2 draw or a 3-2 win either way.

I agree with you Pexbo, my only main concern with Valencia playing in deeper roles is that he doesn't give away too many free kicks.

People have a right to be a little concerned about facing a team with Lukaku and Eto'o in when our defence is so shite. I do agree that the levels of negativity is ridiculous.

    2-1 United

It's either going to be a 2-2 draw or a 3-2 win either way.

Its a given fact that all teams raise their game when it comes to playing United. Everton will be no exception to this especially given that there is also more rivalry as they are a Merseyside outfit. I hope we are up to it too.

Good feeling about this one. Reckon it'll be a good game and we'll win it with Falcao to score.

Lets hope lukaku is playing out wide like in the game against the dippers. He was absolutely useless.

De Gea better but in a decent performance for a change. Needs to work on his intelligence, when and when not to leave the line. With Lukaku in there I am worried to say the least.

This will be a tough game, Everton are a good side despite their bad start and will be bang up for this. I can't help but think the key for us is keeping Lukaku quiet, because if we can do that, we should have too much fire power for them at the other end of the pitch.

Everton is facing Di Maria, Falcao and RVP.

Neither Falcao or RvP have been scintillating as of yet (I know Falcao is adjusting to a new team and new league). If we don't start well, I think we'll get a get all cagey and nervous. Early first goal for Radamel and I think we'll cruise it though :)

If he plays out wide today, I predict he'll spend the afternoon in Shaw's back pocket

can't see Martinez doing that again, especially when you consider our defence is stronger out wide, and shaky in the middle. Could be a long afternoon for Rojo and whoever partners him.

Let's just hope it's a longer day for Jagielka and co!
