He was backed that’s the point. We have spent more than anyother club bar City since he joined. City are owned by a country so it’s impossible to match their spending.
But I see a team that hasn’t improved since he joined. The football is gradually getting worse and now so are the results. We don’t control games, we don’t create enough chances and now we can’t defend either.
He was majorly let off with a 6th place finish in his first season because we won a second rate European trophy that gave us Champions League football. Feck all you haters. Fellaini is one of my favorite players of all time now. The amount of time he saved our asses must be near unparalleled. Despite not being a starter in most games he also plays with a level of passion I only wish most our players had. A symbol of our decline by coincidence imho.
