Not great so far after a good start. Martial has had one or two moments, we need to figure out a way of isolating him against his fullback quicker because he's got the beating of him.

Other than that, Bailly has done ok but looked nervous at times. Dalot solid. Young ok going forward but switches off defensively.

Too many are losing the ball too easily for us to get anything going. I'd like to see Alexis for Lingard unless Martial is featuring against West Ham then he'll not play the full game. Fred and Pogba are safe on this showing.

Martial and Lukaku always seem to have a bit of understanding right from last season. Jose would be wise to use that in the PL games.

He can get isolated at times, but he definitely works hard. I think it must change depending on Jose’s instructions. You’ll see him running the channels and chasing back one game, then you’ll see him as a target man who doesn’t come towards the ball at all. What’s clear though is that he does exactly what he’s told and works hard for the team.

Just a shame he seems to be so low on confidence. He’s been next to useless in front of goal for about 6 weeks now, and he’s always been a bit streaky.

I am sick to the teeth of Sanchez showing his Norman Wisdom(no disrespect to Mr Wisdom who was only playing a part, and very well too) face after he fecks up game after game. Drop him and bring in Martial who was actually doing very well right before the arrival of Sanchez.

A couple of decent balls in but most of our better play has been down the left, so pretty quiet as an attacking force really. Not enough to judge him on defensively.

Problem is lukaku wastes too much energy defending when he should focussing on scoring. At Everton he was far more lethal and should be more lethal here. Look at him for Belgium, always on fire because he don't waste his time doing what midfielders and defenders should do.
