He gives his all if that involves running around 20+% less than almost any other attacker.
They have been terrible.Dalot is legend materialLukaku with his back to goal and Matic just stands watching him instead of making a run that would see him with clear space to run into with an easy lay off. Instead Lukaku gets surrounded. Seriously you don't need to be a top player to make a move for your team mate.

Lovely close control from Mata to win a corner late in the first-half. It goes deep to the back post but Matic can't make anything of it.
I know this gets bandied around a lot but does he? Walks around most of the game.Is there really no one else other than Lukaku? I mean, aside from his form, surely it's good to give him a break once a while anyway?Apart from that beautiful slick move for the goal I think this has been one of the worst displays of passing I’ve seen from us at OT. Anything good has pretty much started with Martial, just give him the ball.Bailly, Herrera and Martial have been excellent. Someone has been working with Martial on the spaces he should be occupying and runs he should be making.

Well we lead 1:0 at the break but it's hardly been a game to capture the imagination. Mata's beautifully worked goal in the third minute gave us the perfect start but Derby have held their own for much of the half.
We've looked occasionally dangerous on the break, with Martial looking the most threatening and getting plenty of joy down the left.
It's an unsurprisingly flat early round League Cup game so far to be honest. Things may liven up in the second-half, but don't get your hopes up.Classic Jones dive that- Status
